Everything in Horizon: Zero Dawn is so beautiful and it's not the Environments that breathtaking, the gameplay was fluid fun to play as. Horizon: Zero Dawn is really my PS4 GOTY 2017!

Gotta admit, Guerrilla Games surpass my expectations ever since this game was reveal years ago.

Yeah, they are always been among the best along with ND and SSM

and it looks like Sucker Punch is going to join them too

There's the sense that the artists and designers have been unleashed to create one of the most striking open world environments you can experience. Everything from the density per scene, the choice of colour, the fluidity of the animation and volume of assets really impresses here. We've seen a lot of large, open-ended games this year but it's clear that Guerrilla Games stands at the top of the industry with its efforts. Even with the growing sense of open world fatigue, we found that the world and lore was interesting enough to carry us through the game, while the quality of these visuals and the solidity of the presentation is unparalleled. For us, Horizon Zero Dawn is an essential release - and The Frozen Wilds genuinely adds further to the experience.

So it's "last few years" now instead of a decade?

You remembered some, didn't you?

That was just a typo ...i still mean in the last 10 years .

You gonna have to move those goalposts a tad bit more though, Antichamber came out mere 2 years ago.

You are the one doing that so far ....What this game have done that we have not seen in any game before ...what type of gameplay that was never done before ?!..

Nothing ....in the end it still just another first-person puzzle game ..Did it invent puzzles ?! or did it invent a new genre ?!... NO

and if you think that it done things that no other game have done before then why it didn't get perfect scores from every site ?!..why it only got 82% from sites and user scores on Metacritc ?!

I'm talking about a game that invent new gameplay elements that was never done before..which you still fail to bring one

We're arguing how it stacks up against one of the most important and influential games in history.

And the answer is: Not so much.

And that's your opinion...you didn't say a single fact so far ..just that you can see the future somehow.

In this quote you can swap TLOU with Manhunt and it will fit like a glove.

But that game is more than 10 years old, so it's only natural you don't remember it.

i own Manhunt2 on my ps2 and played on INSANE mode 3 times where the radar map is removed so you cant tell where your enemies are....they are both very violent but the difference come from that both have very different Style/Animation when it come to gameplay like here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3l4lPIK20o

i love manhunt though....but the last of us was far more brutal and real thanks to the tech and animation.

BTW i have to travel now and won't be able to use the internet for atleast a month ...so knock yourself out with a replay i won't be able to see ...enjoy your empty victory.

@R10nu: I disagree with your opinion...and yes there is no game that did any thing we have't seen before in the last few years

Like Zelda,Mario, gears, halo, uncharted, gta, cod, ass creed, killzone, fallout, batman etc etc ...non of them showed any gameplay we have never seen before.

and even the upcoming games from their trailers are not showing any thing new in gameplay too.

.For me...IMO I will remember TLOU for it was the only TPS game to mix survival with scare resources with action and stealth like no other TPS game before and had the most brutal and real Mele combat in any TPS IMO ..i will remember it for it amazing characters ....there is alot of reasons why i love it so much like most gamers love it outside SW.

I think it's better to just agree to disagree and move on.

@ProtossX: Ps4 didn't get full 18 months before xbox come out...like Xbox360 before ps3 come out which give them 10 million unit head start on ps3

both next gen consoles come out at almost the same time and xbox one still losing badly

It's not possible for xbox to come close to ps4 now

@bobrossperm: Strange!!..did you play it on normal or easy ?!

i played it on Hard/Survival/Grounded with listen mod off like 7 times already

I played alot of it with stealth simply because the ammo was always scare....but when i get ammo or mele weapons i mix things up

Stealth kills and then blast some of them and hide again ...and wait for the right time and drop a smoke bomb and beat two or 3 of them and hide again when i get the chance and let the last one beg for his life befoew i blow his head off ...but i never had lots of ammo and on survival and grounded it's almost impossible to find resources.

The most fun i had with TPS with the brutal mele combat and the bloody gunplay..and loved playing cat and mouse with Enemies AI ..when the flank me or many times they surprise me from behind or when they hide in rooms and attack me

@R10nu: it sold 7+ million on Ps3 and 1+ million on ps4 ...that mean most of it praise still come from Ps3 users ...the remaster did very little ...It was still getting praise before the remaster and still getting praise after the remaster

also, i don't care what you think will happen after 10 years from now ..you don't know what will happen tomorrow let alone 10 years later ..let's talk again after 10 years .

also if you try to bring it down because it didn't do anything new ..then you better do the same for every single game in the last 10 years...and while at it do this for every single upcoming game too.
