@Lacerz: IF you have a $600 PC (Or quite a bit more if you want to watch a 4k Bluray) capable of playing Xbox games available on the $300 Xbox, and you can handle some shoody PC ports, and don't get irritated by the occasional hacker using aimbots, and you can find a server that is populated, as well as understand that you'll probably have to get a new GPU within a couple of years and you either have a desk to put your mouse and keyboard on or don't have a problem with a big PC box in your living room.... Then yeah ... I agree .... you'd be stupid to buy an Xbox.

@Thanatos2k: Why wouldn't you play them on consoles? They're way, way cheaper and you don't have to deal with hackers, aimbots and windows crashes. You know that all players on the server have the same equipment (Even playing field) and there are no problems finding servers that are full and stable. Games are optimised for the console, and PC often has to deal with shoddy ports and unoptimised games.
Mainly for me, I just like to lean back in my chair and use a joystick - I can't do that with a mouse and keyboard even if it is a better control method.

@deadmarv: Quality post. You obviously have a future as a scriptwriter. If leaving your safe place from under your bridge doesn't scare the bejesus out of you that is....

@Lacerz: So you're confirming what I said; Dead Rising (And Tomb raider ... forgot that one...) are not available on PS4, and no release dates have been set?

@Lacerz: You're making it sound like it's a positive thing for the devs and PC gamers that those games aren't coming to PC, and I can guarantee you that Microsoft are positively beaming. (Mind you, apart from Uncharted there's not a lot in that list that gets my juices flowing..)

@rolento25: No idea what interests you ... completely unrelated - could you give me a heads up when a game comes out on PC that actually has populated, stable servers and I can play a game of BF1 without aimbots, wallhacks etc happening .... oh and maybe you have a forum to solve the crashes, freezes and framerate issues so widespread on PC?

@Acillatem1993: The games are exclusive to Microsoft ... it's an age old argument (Mostly from Sony fanboys - not suggesting you're one) and I haven't got the energy to go over it again and again. Whether somebody buys a copy of Halo on PC or Xbox, the money goes to Microsoft. If someone is in the market for a console, they'll probably just go with whichever one their friends have. If not, they'll look at the games which is when console exclusives come into play. Having a game available on PC and Xbox is a positive point for MS and it's what enabled them to post over $1 billion in Xbox Live revenue during 2016, which was my entire point - suggesting MS are struggling to stay relevant is kinda laughable.
I'm lucky enough to have all three. I got PS4 exclusively for Uncharted. It's brilliant, but I mostly play FPS games, and Halo and Gears alone are worth the price of a Xbox. I used to do all my gaming on PC ... hundreds of hours on BF2 + 3, and mouse and keyboard are still the best control system. However, I just got tired of hackers, crashes, aimbots and unoptimised games. Spent hours trawling through forums when I had a problem with my PC combination. Got a SP4 and moved on from PC gaming.
What's "saving" Xbox is that it's actually a bloody good console with some great games, but as so many have pointed out - enjoy your console .. which ever it is.

@thecman25: Try reading a bit harder .... or did my PC become a console?
