I don't understand what all this "labor" talk is about, or what is going to happen in the NFL in the next couple years.
Ummm, the Collective bargaining agreement or CBA is up for renewal next year and both parties: Players and owners are apart in the negotiations which means there might be a lockout next season. But this is NOTHING compare to is happening in the NBA which WILL lockout their players next season. Nicely put, and yeah the NBA is in a much worse situation than in the NFL like you said. It's absurd when players like Joe Johnson are gonna be paid $119 million in their contracts. I'm a big JJ fan but things like that shouldn't be happening in the NBA.
