Kid, you have no clue what you're talking about. If life was that easy, then Microsoft would have made the iPad, iPod and iPhone, because Apple was a midget compared to giant Microsoft before they started to have success with their i-products. Steve Jobs would laugh about your comment lol.

I also want to remind you that you fail to understand the concept of a DISTRIBUTOR. A distributor is not a publisher, all a distributor does is making sure that the product arrives at the customer in the most efficient way. Guess what? SE was the DISTRIBUTOR of Just Cause 2 and nothing more. So if I'm opening a large warehouse and start distributing Apple products, I should get credit too? lol

May I also remind you for a second time that Deus EX HR was not a good port, since it suffered from major frame rate drops (Google gives half a million results when you search for: deus ex HR frame rate drops), that they're still up to this day are trying to improve. So you can talk all you want in an attempt to cover up that facts, but you'll fail.

Even so, SE choose to push for quality ports instead of half azz ones, so they deserve credit on where its due.Bikouchu35

Did you actually read what I wrote? Square-Enix was the DISTRIBUTOR of Just Cause 2. A distributor has no say in the development, they just distribute.

As for Deus-EX HR; the most credit goes to the Eidos and not Square-Enix. A publisher can jump high and low all they want, but if you don't have excellent programmers, art designers, story writers, sound specialists, animators, etc, then you're not getting anywhere. The irony is that Deus-EX HR wasn't a good port at all, there were major issues with dropping frame rates and if you check the changelog of all their updates, you'll find out that even the latest patch contains improvements for this issue, I quote "We have made further changes to reduce stuttering in the game".

As for Sleeping Dogs; it's not a good port either, because the mouse controls in the game are awful, which is only confirmed by the numerous complaints on the Steam and Square-Enix forums.

...and btw, Deus EX: Human Revolution was also not developed by Square-Enix, they were only the publisher of that game, Eidos Montreal was the main developer.

Just Cause 2, Deus EX: Human Revolution, and Sleeping Dogs. All excellently optimized for the PC. One of the few instances where the PC versions easily tower over their console counterparts.

bigbangsun

You're funny....lol....Just Cause 2 was never developed by Square Enix, they were just the distributor, the game was developed by Avalanche Studios in Sweden

I have to disagree with everyone above. To me, the driving mechanics in Sleping Dogs are just fine. The cars are heavy enough to  really have trouble turning very quickly, bui it is fine if you slow down before the turn and brake into it, which is pretty realistic to me. Honestly, the cars and motorcycles feel real.Deku20

You're obviosuly a 10 year old who has never driven a real car if you qualify this as realistic.
