You have already figured it out. It is not going to do any harm. The worst thing that is going to happen is that it may not detect the device right away when enabling it and you may have to unplug it and plug it again or reboot Windows.

Cool, thanks.

Is there any way to safely disable / enable a USB device via Windows instead of plugging the device out of the USB slot everytime? Certain non-racing game menus go crazy when my wheel is connected and the only way to stop it is to unplug the wheel while I'm playing those games.

I know you have the right click --> disable option in Windows Device Manager but is that safe? Is it as simple as just right click --> enable once I'm done or will it mess up the driver installation or worse?

It's almost like Facebook are footing the bill for this tech demo for their new Oculus Quest 2 because there are probably like a 1000 people who meet all these requirements, including the VR headset.

The thing is, it doesn't really look like it should require those specs.

Alyx is a far, far superior looking game and lit run on a 970.

Same with the majority of VR games, none require these specs, or space.

Valve just possess magic. I remember thinking when HL2 came out how it's looking so much better than almost anything else at the time, and that too with so much physics happening. Some devs just do more for less.

The lack of base console footage should've sent out a red flag to cancel preorders for those platforms. But as someone who experienced Fallout 4's 20 fps on base PS4, I am surprised CP77 even runs at all.

He means chief obviously. Don't think Gamespot's kitchen staff are on the payroll anymore since the pandemic.

As we saw in the Digital Foundry PC vs XSX/S comparison video for Watch Dogs Legion, even a RTX 2060 Super is better than what the next-gen consoles offer, because they play around with the quality of ray tracing and resolution scaling that doesn't happen on PC so it's not apples to oranges.

Has anyone who has the PS5 tried hooking up the Dualsense to their PC? Does it work for a third party game like COD: BO in the same way as it does on the PS5 as far as feedback goes (haptics, triggers, etc.)?

This is my favourite walking sim. I might double dip.

I played the Redux version demo and it had a section where you had to sneak around and hide and avoid a monster, so definitely not a walking simulator going by that but perhaps that section was added in for the Redux version? Never played the original.
