It's got twice the memory of the PSP-1000(32MB), therefore, faster loading times :) like and all other things IQT786 mentioned.

CC:FF7 has all the press they need because of the franchise's popularity. Patapon is kind of a second-time-around competitor on PSP game development, having developed Loco Roco before. CC:FF7 is overhyped, the DMW just cripples it, die hard fans deny to accept that fact. I'm a fan, but I accepted that fact, but it's still playable.

That's wierd. That could be a defect on either the UMD or the PSP itself.

The ones labeled as VERY HARD missions doesn't mean the enemies have have better AI, they just have higher HP and Stronger Damage and oftentimes a one-hit kill (10k damage or more).

The best solution for that is get materia like HP UP and VIT UP, fuse them and get higher grades. VIT reduces damage you receive and the HPUP boosts your HP. Use the dodge button when you can at the right time and you'll be almost untouchable.

Maybe try using another imaging program for it? Try the GIMP (freeware) if you can't get Photoshop.

First of all, they are incomparable since they are of a totally different genre. Patapon is a rhythm/strategy game and FF:CC is an Action/RPG, how the hell can you say that one is better than the other? The deciding factor here is what genre you like more than the other.

Crisis Core is more popular because of the "Final Fantasy" franchise, thus overhyped and overrated, not saying it's a bad game, it just gets too much hype that players deny the fact that the DMW really sucks.

go for jeanne D'arc if you need something less complex. It's very user-friendly, especially for noobs on RPGs. FFTactics is an overly complicated game that even your zodiac signs has a major factor on how much damage you give and receive, but nevertheless, a great game. The question for something more adapatable to newcomers right? Jeanne D'arc is your answer.

Another note on FFTactics, not all your party members are unique characters. You start off with a few, then recruit "generic" characters that you mold into classes you want them to be. In Jeanne D'arc, your party members are all unique, meaning having personalities and background stories themselves (not including the extra army fodder you have on some missions).

Agreed. Jeanne D'arc isn't as complex as that of FFTactics which is very complicated, though the complication is also its strong point because of the multiple possibilities, thus giving you more replay value.

Well i would pick up crisis core as alot of people recomend it but im from New Zealand & crisis core is not released here yet & as for final fantasy tactics which people have recomended as well its far to over priced to even bother about at the moment here.SadAngelman

Just remember that your specials (aka limit breaks and summons like Bahamut and Odin) are executed randomly. You cannot summon them at will or doing a certain command, you have to be LUCKY. If you're OK with that, then by all means, get CC. But if you'd like a bit more in-depth strategy, go for the SRPGs.
