PS4 and Xbox One are both going to die two years from now, I ain't stupid.

The 6th and 7th gens of games (especially 6th) are why I'm not "joining in on the future" and sh-lit. PS5 and fourth Xbox are coming and are going to be nothing more than another set of temporary fads, so what?

I know it's important games evolve as well as consoles, but there are easy ways to play classics and new classics of yesteryear They easily outnumber all of the Call of Duty's and CoD clones coming out in 9th Gen. Who agrees?

@dark_drag765:

- This other one's Pyroware 6,000. The player character is a full demon and the final boss/antagonist is a human lost soul who wants to merge heaven and hell thus ending reality itself. Chaos ensues. Rich story, loads of bloody violence, beat 'em up/shooting mechanics, and yet I used a Switch template for this lolz. Given Nintendo is cool again but this'd be better on PlayStation. If God of War ever truly concludes, I think of this as a spiritual successor. :)

@dark_drag765: Great idea you have! Very cyberpunk-ish. :D

I have some ideas for video games...I wish I was a dev. Most of 'em would fit as character action ventures for the PS4 or PS5. For now they're only ideas in my head, but here they are. I have some fake game covers of them too, thanks to the magic of GIMP:

- This one I call 60 Second Whiteout. It's about this half-white half-Korean guy who is a freedom fighter in the 23rd Century.
- This one I call 60 Second Whiteout. It's about this half-white half-Korean guy who is a freedom fighter in the 23rd Century.

- This one I call 60 Second Whiteout. It's about this half-white half-Korean guy who is a rebel in the 23rd Century. He has the power to freeze time for a minute, and it comes in handy ideally in-game...snapping necks of regime soldiers, blowing away black blooded synthetic mutants, etc. Like a better version of Enter the Matrix. Sorry 'bout the deja vu caption under my pic, don't know how that happened. :/

- It'll be open world as far as being set in the Dragon Ball universe. Seriously, what other setting style would it be? Regardless of which planets are included or not, you should be able to visit and fully explore, get quests etc on them. And there should be outskirts to fight bosses in.

- This next prediction is more of something I'm keeping my fingers crossed tightly over: You should get the option to create a character from one of the 28 races that East Kaioshin mentions in Super. OMG that'd be AWESOME. :) Obviously, Saiyans, Namekians etc will be included, but there's hella more that Toriyama created for the Universe 7 Milky Way alone over the years. A dude on DeviantArt actually made a map of every warrior-capable planet, but something tells me Bandai-Namco would use races from scratch if it's gonna be like this. If Raging Blast 2 had a big-azz roster, than this is possible.

Don't know what some fans mean when they say they don't believe Kaioshin on the "28 planets" claim. It makes sense; Beerus destroyed most of them. Moving on...

- You should be able to blow enemies THROUGH THE FRIKKIN' EARTH if you're leveled enough. Arcosians can breathe in space so if you're that race..you could train by blasting asteroids or even fighting kin. Cooler-Being-A-Better-Villain-Than-Frieza reference.

This game should deliver the full on Dragon Ball experience. Everything it's been and reminded people of should be wrapped into this. Seriously tho: It WON'T BE XENOVERSE 3. If it is, they'd have announce it by that name.

Any thoughts?

@davillain-: "Everything?" I'd say everything only on full moons.

I don't know imo it's a total stereotype that werewolves can't control themselves period. Gonna buy this game when it comes out along with Vampyr, 'cause by then there'll be titles where you can play as anything.

Never was one to join in on the monster rivalry craze of the early 2010s....zombie memes killed it XD

I still am absolutely keeping my fingers crossed that this game gets released before PS5 distracts everyone from all these 8th gen games that are still coming out circa this year. Or at least sometime this year not long after the 5 is announced.

I can't wait to play WTA! Never played the tabletop from back when, but this has just as much potential as Cyberpunk 2077, which is sure to be a hit in and of itself.

According to PlayStationLifeStyle.net, the protagonist's a werewolf named Cahal, searching for his son, he's the last of his lycan tribe, and uncovers an as-of-yet under wraps big bad plot by humanity. That's all I know but it sounds sweet.

What do you think? Will it come out surprisingly earlier than expected? Some say it'll come out 10 YEARS from now. Hmm. I doubt it. Just 'cause you play as a lycan doesn't mean people have to bash it and say it's bound to get only one star from IGN. Only hardcore Call of Duty purists will be insecure over it 'cause they're closet racists. If a game is like, Drake of the 99 Dragons quality, then we can talk about it sucking.

Honestly it doesn't look promising. Werewolves: The Apocalypse is not what I mean, I'm talkin' 'bout titles for XBO/XB4 or PS4/PS5.

This is why I'm taking all available chances at becoming a dev myself, TO MAKE A CONSOLE GAME WHERE YOU ARE A BADASS LYCANTHROPE. And with said monster being a developed character, not like where you play as a beast racing to eat random humans.

Arguably, it's not that there's a lack of lycan games 'cause devs find them too "difficult to rig;" it's because DEVS AND ALL GAME STUDIOS ARE RACISTS AND PERSONALLY INSECURE. Vampires are the cooler non-human type only because they look like us and are more relatable.

XD Man, if I had a cat I'd put vampire game covers in her litter box. Zombie games I'm ok with since you're a human shooting them up in most of them. They're not even monsters they're dead humans and memes are 100% responsible for their popularity.

My point is if studios like Sucker Punch won't put playable lycan stuff on the shelves, I'll take matters into my own hands. So many games today are just copies of each other. I was bullied for my taste by the Gold-All-In-My-Chain-Twelve-Hunnid clique back in high school...WHAT DID THEY KNOW?!? JUST 'CAUSE I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO WORK WITH THEM ON HISTORY AND OTHER SUBJECTS, THAT GAVE THEM THE RIGHT TO MAKE FUN OF ME, SAY I SHOULD STICK TO "PRESCHOOL LOSER-DOM," AND...

Sorry about the trail-off. The argument is that if there's going to be more werewolf games, they'll most likely be made by indie devs. It's possible, and could be good quality even if they're platformers.

BTW if the GameSpot mods didn't lock this post/block me for it, I'd put a pic here of the scene from Cursed with the lycan chick giving the finger from a window. I'd dedicate it to all the f**kers who thought they were superior to everyone except those they deemed "cool." :(

Not that I don't like games like Sly Cooper. Animals and furries as game heroes are just WAY OVERUSED. :(

There are exceptions, though. So long as it's a rarely depicted creature like a rhino, that's fine.

So, I have a PS4 now, and have spent the past half hour browsing with what Internet I have left. I feel like I missed something, as there might be some games up my alley...somehow.

I'm really looking for games where you're an alien, robot, or humanoid other creature, so long as they don't look human FACIALLY. Basically humanoid, but they definitely are not human. Elves are an exception too.

Here's what I've seen so far:

- Chicken Assassin: Reloaded (A chicken man on steroids)

- Livelock (Robot)

- Eliosi's Hunt (Alien...though he seems to fit too much into the Grey stereotypical look. If it's an alien, original species please.)

...That's about it. I may have missed something but I don't feel like looking through again now.

Any recommendations?

They originally created the Sly Cooper franchise. I was six years old when the first game came out. I remember seeing the commercial for it.

And now, an eternity later, they're coming out with a samurai epic in the short aftermath of the Infamous series (not sure if there'll be a third). You'd think a video game studio like them would've been erased from existence like a lot of other 6th gen developers.

And going back to Ghost of Tsushima, you know how ultimately RARE it is for an American game studio to nail - and I mean NAIL - a console specific title that's Japan based without being straight offensive? And being accurate at that, while retaining an original premise? It's INCREDIBLE. If you told someone circa 2002 that Sucker Punch would still be active in the future making more single player action stuff on the shelves, they'd have thought you were crazy. That's back when GBAs were still made, daaaaaaamn.

So what do you think? Is your mind blown by the jump from raccoon thieves to power absorbing anti-heroes to samurai?
