@Lawdog1521: They all won't be available day one, only select handful, while the rest will be released in waves.

@leviathanxx: Let me break this down for you
"The Market got saturated is right, saturated with yearly Guitar Heroes at full price and with minimal improvements and relatively small setlists." - We all agree on this point, GH saturated the market heavily and more than likely killed itself in the process with spinoffs like DJ hero and band hero
"Now Guitar Hero is poised to release a stripped down game which has already been confirmed to use simplified controls" - I've played with that guitar it is not as simple as you think it is and I've been playing GH and RB during their lifetime. It feels closer to playing a guitar than what RB4 is offering and I like that. Yes RB3 had pro guitars, nothing can compare to that(besides Rocksmith but that's irrelevant here), but that's not coming back to RB4. Pro drums are the only "pro" related thing to come back. There's also singing included as well
", the only change is the stupid Guitar Hero TV, a system that prevents you playing every song you own in favour of gating them to set times of the day..."- Not entirely correct as GHTV is only part of the game meaning you have and can play songs without GHTV(not all of them as the tracks revealed are a mix of GH live and GHtv songs)
"Meanwhile Rock Band is providing another complete game, familiar yes but polished and with brand new higher quality instruments without any pointless faux live action footage of weird restrictions on content, PLUS all of our already owned songs will work right off the bat, something guitar Hero has NEVER done..." Incorrect it's not a complete game. Keyboards are not coming back, Every pro instrument, sans the drums, are not coming back, no Midi support, and no ION support. Not all DLC songs are available at launch, they're releasing a handful(they said hundreds) while the rest will released in future waves. No online modes at launch. Still waiting on RB3 to be exportable as well.
If you're going to tell me that's a complete game, you're being delusional
Correct: They are bringing improved instruments that are stated to work far better.than the previous ones
The one thing I will agree on is the fact about GHTV. WE HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA. This could be good if the rewards( the play currency) and pricing of songs are sufficient enough that I wouldn't need to be paying a dime because my skills are helping me earn the ability to play the songs I want. This could also be bad since A) it's Activision, and B) the system is just so brokent that playing 50 songs with the highest score possible is still not enough to get 1-2 songs(God I hope it doesn't be like this)

<< LINK REMOVED >> suddenly, "he what's that thing in the sky."
sch_twitch: OH GOD! YOU FOOLS!! YOU ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN!! MICROSOFT CREATED THEIR OWN HALO RING!!
<< LINK REMOVED >> uhh I think you mean PC to Xbox One, but besides that I agree, but we'll see.
<< LINK REMOVED >> As a windows 8 user, I disagree. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting the upgrade. I have had no problems playing the games I have nor did I have problems with the OS in general. I prefer it over 7 honestly. That being said, it's my opinion so it's just my own personal experience with the OS.
