GOD$@#!&* I think i may have fix my hard drive...but now i can't boot into my bro hard drive anymore.

This is what i did: Took my HDD and put it into my bro computer, used the installation disk to repair the corrupt winload.exe, booted into my HDD, truned off the computer, took my HDD out and powered up.

Now it goes to the boot manager asking to start windows vista(which was on my HDD that is no longer pluged in), or start windows recovery console.

Why is it doing this, why wont it boot into my bro XP?

Plz help...iam going nuts...lol

Nope..all I see is the no input..screen going to sleep message. It must be the hard drive because the HDD light on the front isn't doing anything.

Ok, I log on to my computer this morroning and it has been sleeping over night. I do a windows update and restart my computer. Then it goes crazy, the first time I restarted the computer didn't boot up, the DVD drive was blinking and the hard drive light on the front wasn't doing anything. I restart again, same thing happens but now my fans are spining at max speed. The screen said that there is no VGA input and goes to sleep. I belive it is a problem with my hard drive because the LED on the front is not doing anything, so I unpluged the power and SATA cable and put them back in. Restart and the same this happens.

My computer is a HP Pavilion Media Center a1610n Desktop PC

AMD Athlon 4200 X2 - 2.2Ghz
1GB of Ram
nivida 6150LE(intergraded)
Windows Vista Unlimted

I need help pretty bad, and any info would be useful

I got that feeling once...made me crazy. So one day I just wented out for a day, wented to random places. Made me feel better just to do something different.

Try it...could help.
