@TOOLFRENZY Earthworm Jim is also my highest recommendation. So good.

I recently played EVO: Search for Eden in a weekend. Pretty fun.

Castlevania 4, Contra 3, Lion King, Street Fighter are some of my favorites

  • World of Warcraft
  • Runescape
  • maybe Worms Armageddon?

All to play multiplayer with friends. @Byshop pretty much summed it up

In terms of features/design I love it. Probably the best console. Better controller than PS4, XMB is way way better.

It's library isn't bad. I'm more of a retro guy. I'd say ps2 > ps1 > ps3 > ps4 in terms of what games they have.

I had the far model, got YLOD, have super slim now. I got custom firmware a few weeks ago (new exploit found in 2020 works on all models), and I'm loving playing SNES/Genesis/PS1 games on my CRT.

I like mine, in software. It's fun and really easy. I only really work for 1-5 hours in a typical day since it's all online.

I kinda wish I had the satisfaction of actually creating/building something useful, rather than just fuelling the banking industry.

@osan0: I didn't get to XBC1 until 2018 I think (really hard to find in Canada). I thought for sure I had built to large of an expectation but damn... al-time greats is right. XBC2 doesn't exactly look like my style.

This year so far I finally got around to Wind Waker, Phoenix Wright 2, Age of Empires 1-2, Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, Machinarium... currently going through Doom 64. Been pretty productive :D

@patoklovatina: Sounds like Mageslayer??? The Ankhs for health sound very familiar

@rogue1115: Could be Might and Magic, possibly Ultima

@ronclassics: Definitely Shadowgate. Great game

@dynamiix: Maybe Crimsonland? Also reminds me of a flash game called Delirium.

I've been looking for years for a 2D sidescroller on PC/DOS circa 1995-2000. The game was drawn like a silhouette, your character is pitch black against a dark background. The first level was a graveyard. The game was fairly pixelly, I think you had a sword, and I think the walking animation was very smooth. Came on a demo disc with Doom, Lemmings, and some other games.

Lol the exact same thing happened to me. I was playing KH2 and my friend tripped on the controller, pulling the ps2 out of the wall and knocking it to the ground. Pretty sure that scratched this disc because it won't read anymore, but other games work fine on it.

The one biggest problem about 5th/6th generations was fragile discs. Depressing to think that they won't work in the far future.
