Haven't played the game before and I'm pretty excited for the PS4 version. I've been having a bit of a Final Fnatasy craze as of late.

So my brother has been playing Destiny and he wants to do strikes. On my PS4, my user is the one with PS+. His is a separate account but he can play online still. However, the strikes in Destiny apparently require PS+. So is there no other way for him to play the strikes except to buy another PS+ subscription for himself?

Guilty Gear Xrd might be coming out this year depending how things go for exclusively PS3/PS4. Its beyond awesome for fighting game fans like me.

@agethe6: I know this is a late response, but my game was downloading like an hour or two before the store itself updated.

Boy, Do I love Third Strike. Such a great game but definitely a hardcore one at that. Believe me, I suck at fighting games too but I get by. Which character are you maining? Maybe it could help us give you tips. In regards to combos, you really dont need high end combos to do well in this game. 3 hit combos, short combos into super, and a good throw game will get the job done. Next you should learn your character normal attacks and understand when to use them, and where to place them. Some normals are good for the opponents wakeup because it stiff them. Others have good reach or deceptive reach so it great for poking you opponent a bit. Other are great for stopping jump ins, so learn those normals!

As for parrying, dont stress it too much. Only the pros learn how to parry entire supers and crazy combos. I would say that you should learn how to parry fireballs so you are not stuck blocking all the time. Also learn how to guess a normal punch and parry it. What I mean is, if you see your opponent has a habit of throwing a punch or kick out, and you feel it coming, be prepared to do a quick parry and just grab them or anything to punish them.

On a final note, execution is very strict in this game so take some time to practice it. Otherwise, it all comes down to which character you are maining. Let us know so we can give some advice.

The game is not flawless and is very black and white with these decisions. Nevertheless I am a huge fan its just one of those things if you know what I mean. The games logic is that you sided with the anti-hero, Nix, therefore you must be an anti-hero/villain too. The first infamous also had one of those decisions where one decision will change your karma entirely.

I love the entire franchise (its my favorite) but every game has their ups and downs.

Infamous 1 was my favorite. It had the best overall story, and it was a great challenge. Loved all the characters although Cole could have been more interesting.

Infamous 2 was almost as good as infamous 1. It felt better and looked better. The overall story was good, and the ending was PERFECT. No real complaints.

Infamous Second Son. The most fun of all 3 games. It looks jaw-dropping good, the world is great, the powers are awesome. Delsin was a fun character imo and the supporting cast was interesting too; im glad Fethc is getting her own fleshed out story. The only thing that stopped this game from being better than the last two imo, was that the overall story wasnt anywhere near as epic.

Thing is, Infamous Second Son took a turn in a new direction. Infamous 1-2 define the inFamous Franchise. Infamous Second Son is the beginning of a new era where it seems to be stories taking place within the infamous universe. So Cole's story was THE story of inFamous and the most epic of all. Delisins was A story. So i loved all the games and agree that the 1st was the best. I jsut hope Sucker Punch can continue this direction with inFamous without faltering.

I stopped playing CODs long ago. Too samey, boring to me now. Cookie Cutter gameplay. I want new, fresh experiences and Activision sux.

Basically this. I just dont like the franchise, their choices, and the style. Abysmal in my opinion. But to each his own i suppose.

inFamous: Second Son is my favorite. Im a huge fan of the infamous franchise. Killzone Shadow Fall is a solid game too. I dont have too many either besides those and the PS+ freebies which have been really fun. Strider was my favorite freebie so far.

Oh it'll take a very long time to get good. But I love this game with a passion. It has so much depth and so mcuh to learn. I've been playing since the original SF4 and I still suck tbh. I went from a scrub spamming Shoryuken with ken 5 years ago to a Guile/Makoto player that tries to think 3 steps ahead, learns the matchups, and uses every tool in the game that benefits me and my character. I still stick in just the 500pp range. But this is a very hardcore community and this is such a later version of the SF4 series that only people who KNOW how to play are still playing. You shouldnt feel bad at all, but it will take time. Hope you have fun!

Also, who is your main character? I can probably recommend some pro players for you to watch on youtube so you can learn from the best.
