I don't feel overwhelmed, but I think that's thanks to my way of looking at this gaming hobby. I see it as something that I greatly enjoy, and spend a lot of time doing. But when you get to the point where you feel overwhelmed, it may be time to take a step back. For example, it's not important to play EVERY single good game. It should be your quest to play the games that you really want to play. Don't think that you need to know everything about every game.
I used to be like that with these forums. I had two boards specifically that I would visit. The GGD and the Gamecube forums. But, it took up too much of my time because I felt compelled to read every thread on the first page. I felt like to be "up to date" I had to do that. But when I soon got burnt out, and nearly quit the forums altogether. I was then able to see my mistake, and remedy it. I came back, and I just read the stuff that interested me. I think it's the same with playing games, or for most things in life for that matter. Moderation. Take things in a healthy moderation.
And yeah, I'm saying moderation when I've got over 10,000 posts. :P
