I really like the game. Yes I've been frustrated with the connection issues but I've put a lot of hours in with a couple mates of mine and I’m addicted. I don't really want another game, but I’d love it if they gave the British, German and French city sets to those that want them instead. If it is just a choice of games let’s hope they’re good ones as to not add insult to injury or they had better get ready for the shit storm that would follow.
@drrafe @rocketsatdawn Haha, yeah you're probably right. They should have held it back until it was ready. Another game rushed to meet it's release date. I'm gonna wait a couple of days to see if it improves and if not I'm going to get my money back.
I just don't understand how they didn't see this coming. As soon as they announced it as an always online game everybody knew it would go horribly wrong at launch. I didn't cancel my pre-order as i'm such a huge fan of the series, but my God i'm gonna be shouting 'I told you so' from the roof for the next week or so. I have so many friends that boycott EA products all together and they're currently laughing their ass of at me for buying another shoddy EA release. Lets hope they get these issues ironed out soon or i'll be going the same way as my friends. EA are making just way too many mistakes now and I feel like an absolute chump for giving them my money.
I really cant stand the tacky models that come with collectors editions. I've bought the odd few here and there for games I was really excited about but I nearly always regretted it a few days later.
I only really buy the special editions for the artwork and DLC, so it would be awesome if more games would just give the book, the game and maybe additional game content. I would actually buy the special editions for more releases if that was the case. Since buying the Assassins creed 3 Join or die edition I have been completely avoiding buying more than just the game. Its not as silly as that god awful bust that they were going to sell but it was pretty expensive. Th little book wasnt worth it and all the stupid little medallion does is take up space in my tiny flat. Urrggghh. Such as waste of money. I got sucked in.
That's a shame, I think it would be awesome. I absolutely love the Gears of War games and it would be nice to see the affect of the war from a woman's perspective. I am really looking forward to playing as Baird mind you; Marcus barely had more personality than a goldfish.
I think that they should consider having a female protagonist for future games anyway, or at least have it in addition to the male character such as they did in Mass Effect. That was massively story driven and they managed it, so it cant be that difficult. My Female Shepard was mean as hell. She rocked!
I know that a lot of of guys like playing as female characters; games such as Mass Effect and Planetside 2. I play with a lot of guys on Planetside that wear the body of a woman and they love it. For me it feels awesome kicking ass without having to play as a dude all the time. Its a nice change and can sometimes make me care more for the character. Also its bound to get more girls interested in the franchise.
Nope, its still good. I'm 24 and i'm still excited about some FPS. I was going to say judgement but actually its third person. I've put in a good 300 hours into Planetside 2 since it's release. Although it's the teamwork that keeps me obsessed and the joy that comes with shooting Vanu. I guess I don't play skyrim for the shooting, however I do spend a lot of time hunting with a bow; Soooo much fun.
