I'm pretty sure, not 100%, but a HDtv at 1920x1200 will take more processing than a smaller monitor at the same resolution. Or so I've been lead to believe. I'd stick with the single one for now, for the cost of the ultra is just isn't worth it to get 2.

ultra on sli?that's just overkill, anything over 60fps really is just excessive, you'd need a huge HDtv to take advantage of it. When I look into the corners in Fear where there's nothing to process it goes up to something like 300fps and I can'ttell the difference from 100.

ultra all the way, just because I have one and I want my purchase to be justified. I'm weird that way, but yeah, it runs F.E.A.R at around 110-120 fps so hopefully I can run crysis at 60

I've got vista 64 bit and I'm the only user who uses it. Sometimes it won't let me do things because I don't have administrator privilages which is retarded. I'm trying to save files directly onto a usb hd but it won't let me, how do I get around this. under user accounts it says I'm administrator

I played it on a top of the line pc and thought the last few levels of the game were worth buying it alone. The story sucked, but when you're in the VC and there's tank shells and lasers and giant scorpion things all over the place it's pretty awsome.

as long as they don't have a tiered system where people who pay get more out of the game and the people who don't pay get screwed over. If I see that in any game it instantly makes me not want to play for 2 reasons, if you don't pay you get screwed because you don't get the benefits, if you do you get screwed because you're paying to play with people that don't and are handicapped by their weaknesses.

so I played Bioshock, and Fear on my new computer. They had decent stories, but as far as the action goes it seemed liked the primary focus of gameplay was creating suspense and trying to creep the player out. When the faces of corpses would flash on the screenI wasn't really scared, I was more annoyed because I felt it kind of took away from actually enjoying the game. I'm not saying they're bad, just not exactly my taste. Then I played Lost Planet Extreme Condition and found the gameplay to be much much more enjoyable. The DX10 maxed out features are so gorgeous and the action gets so intense sometimes, a perfect example is in the beginning when the green eye is smashing through buildings and I'm running through a walkway and there's just so much hapenning it's so much fun. I'm looking for more games like this where the focus is on action and intensity instead of realism and spookiness, I never really enjoyed horror movies and I don't like that aspect in games. So any suggestions. BTW I'm not trying to say Lost Planet is better than Bioshock, I justfind the actual gameplay elements to be a lot more fun.

I cost 1500 to build, I did not brake down like my owners xbox360, I can play supreme commander, bioshock, all the HL2 games, umm...90% of old games,a long list of MMO's, shooters strategy games etc. etc. I run MSN, I can stream movies ontoa TV via a S-video cable, umm, I can do homework, play music, I can overclock, I can upgrade, I can customize, I get free online gaming, I am a complete home entertainment system for 1500 dollars. I am a kickass computer.

I'd say in 5 or 6 years technology will peak as far as running games goes. Right now Bioshock is a pretty amazing looking game, not photorealistic, but it's almost close. Once we reach photorealism and technology catches up there won't really be a need to upgrade anymore. Can't wait for that day, and I especially can't wait until computers have no moving parts, have like 5 nm technology and hardly heat up. By then they won't break down. My prediction is it will be the third generation of video cards and processors from this point that this will happen.
