Finally back

Hello everyone! It sure has been a while since I was last active on Gamespot. In two years I've only posted a couple little blogs. The reason why is that last year was so crazy.

During the summer of 2011, me and my family agreed to move from our home in Ohio, to try to live in Washington state again. I was obviously nervous because I haven't been in Washington in almost 10 years, and at that time I was really young, so I knew I'd have to kind of "start over" and make new friends and all. Everyone else was very excited and looking forward to being in a new place though, so I tried sharing the same excitement with the others. Plans for moving were made in March, and we finally were prepared and moved by the time May rolled around. We were on our way to a place called Anacortes Island, Washington.

The plane ride we had was a little rough. It took a little over a day to get there because of a couple flight delays. I was almost awake the entire flight because of eagerness to finally get off the plane, and into Washington. I was with most of my immediate family, such as my siblings and parents, with some other relatives that took a head start and waited for us. It was around 3:00am when we finally landed, but I was far from tired. I got off the plane, and instantly saw some new landscape that is not in Ohio, and saw a lot of lights and buildings too. We landed in Seattle, and ended up staying there temporarily until we drove up to Anacortes.

It may have been dark outside, but on the way to Anacortes I saw some amazing scenerey like really green grass, Mount Baker and other really big mountains, and there was a lot of rivers too. I was pretty crowded in the car, but it was still an awesome drive nonetheless.

After a few hours, we all made it to our new home, but wen't to bed right away due to exhaustion. I slept for a really long time, but when I woke up, it was to a lot of sunshine and water. The house was right by an ocean. Soon after that, I traveled around town, met some really cool people, and visited some cool areas. It was a small town, but still a lot of fun because of hanging out with friends and stuff like that. Everyone was layed back, and welcoming which was a good thing for sure. I was always active, doing a lot of outdoor activities and things like that, and was one of the reasons I was on Gamespot less and less. As fun as it was hanging out with people and traveling around state and town, it was still hard to find a place to live for long. It is far more expensive to live there than in Ohio, and then on top of that, I was dealing with a lot of other issues too like family problems and such. As a result, we ended up driving back to Ohio after about 7 months.

Even with the few problems I had, it was still an amazing experience to say the least. When I moved back, I went back to gaming because I missed it so much, and it's good to finally be on here again. I give thanks to the people who took the time to read over my blog :) How has everyone else been?

I just got an Xbox 360 controller with a charge and play kit. Every time I unplug it from the Xbox when it's supposed to be done charging, it will turn off. Is my controller broken, or am I doing something wrong?

New gifts.

I had a lucky day this week and got a lot of stuff in mail. Heres what I got.

Xbox 360 w/ games

I was really happy with this. Now I have a working 360 again, plus some new games.

Forza Motorsport 3

This is a really fun racing game, especially with other people. I reccomend it to any 360 owner.

Need for Speed Carbon

I don't like this as much as Forza 3, but it's still pretty fun.

Here is some more stuff that isn't Xbox related.

Wii system w/ games

Believe it or not I was actually happier about getting this than the 360. After all, I haven't had a Wii for a couple years now.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

This is a really fun game. I didn't expect it to be so different from the DS version either, but it is. It's better.

Descent game, but I'd rather play an actual Sims game though.

MySims Racing

I reall scored on the racing games this time around. This isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it's pretty good actually.

When I turned my Wii system on, I noticed a lot of Virtual Console games. Yay!

Mario Bros.

I actually haven't played this one up until now. It's an awesome multiplayer game, but the controls are kinda slippery.

Super Mario Bros.

Do I really need to explain how awesome this game is?

Super Mario Bros. 2

I'm probably one of the few people who really find this game fun.

Super Mario Bros.2/The Lost Levels

It's basically like SMB in every way, except the extremely difficult stages, and no 2 player. Why? At least it's still fun though.

Super Mario Bros. 3

Holy crap, 6 Mario games in one day! We all know this is worth owning.

I got some PC games that won't work :(

Command & Conquer

Hopefully they will work someday...

Now here are some things we bought with our own money

Tekken 6

This is a really fun 1 and 2 player game. It's awesome, but loading time is ridiculous though.

NBA 07

Ugh. There are so many basketball games I'd rather own, but I can't say I ripped myself off because this was only 2 bucks.

Xbox 360

Fable II

For less than 10 bucks, this was a total steal. There is so much to do on this game, and it's fun too.

Well, this is all the stuff I got this week. I can't say it's dissapointing either. :)

Merry (late) Christmas everyone

What's up guys? How was your Christmas? This is some stuff I got, and I'm starting with non video game stuff first.

MTG Jace Vs. Chandra box and 2011 Core Set Fat pack

Well, I got a lot of Magic the Gathering this year. I've been playing a ton of MTG with people lately and I'm happy to of gotten these gifts, especially the Japanese Jace Vs. Chandra pack. It was really strange to see something like that at my local game store. Luckily, I ended up getting the last one. There where only three, so I didn't think I'd end up with one of them. I got the last fat pack they had too. Wow.

Futurama seasons 1 & 2

Futurama is one of my favorite shows ever, and I'm glad I ended up getting this gift.

Now heres the games and stuff

Nintendo DSi XL

When these things first came out, I wasn't a huge fan of them. The previous DS I got though has broken, and I'm happy with getting this. Plus, it helps with the games where you have to read.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

So far, this game is really awesome, and makes me want to get more Castlevania games in the future.

Card Fighters DS

By now, you can probably tell I'm into card games. I was actually pretty nervous about getting this, because of how bad I heard it was. I think it's pretty good IMO, and it's pretty fun playing this with other people too.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

I personally think this game is awesome. I always read or hear about how bad the PS3 version of this game is. but I don't really see anything wrong with it. The online is really fun to play.

Virtua Fighter 5

Besides this not having onlinemultiplayer, it is a really fun game, and a lot of people play me in it too. One thing that makes this game awesome, besides multiplayer, is quest mode, where you can customize characters and all.

Overall, I had an awesome Christmas this year, and I hope you did too. Thanks for reading.

Whats up?

Whats up guys? I haven't been doing much on GS, so I decided to make a blog. I really don't have much to talk about, but I wrote a new review if anyone wants to read it. I'ts probably one of my longest reviews in a long time. Lately, I've been playing a lot of Bioshock, Fire Emblem, and LittleBIG Planet. How about you guys?

Wow, it's been a long time since I made a blog on GS... I guess the first thing I should ask is whats up everyone! I'm very excited because I just got a PS3 and a couple games with it being Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and inFamous, with inFamous being a better game overall. Very addicting. I'm not so sure what other games to get for it though, can I get some reccomendations?

Anyway I have to get to the bad news, which is that I'm starting school tomorrow:( I guess it's not the end of the world but it's not that fun for me to look forward to, but fortunately I'm going to be homeschooled this year which means I'll be on GS more often:D

Thats pretty much all I can think of to type right now. I'm off playing PS3.

I finally have Xbox live!

After two years or so, I finally have Xbox live. I ended up getting a free month trial. My name on there is rjgamer95 because pretty much everything else I wanted wasn't available. So far my favorite game to play on XBL is Resident Evil 5. I know I haven't been doing much on GS lately, so I'll be posting more blogs soon. Thanks for reading!

This is a real blog

Yeah, it's been a while since I've actually posted a real blog. I'll try to be better about that. Anyway, I just seen the movie "Paranormal Activity" and I think it's one of the most BORING movies I've ever seen. I guess some of the stuff that happened in the movie was kinda mysterious, but the scariest part was the ending, and I'm not talking about the alternate ending either. Believe me, there are scarier movies.

I found something cool at my game store a while ago. I found an NES 2 or a Top Loader with the box and Dog Bone controller. It works much better than the other NES does. The only problem with it though is taking out and putting in the cartridge. To take a cart out I have press my hand on the system and take it out that way, but at least it works fine. I found it for $70.00.

At this point, I'm trying to find the game Earthbound for the SNES. I'm not kidding, it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played. If theres any way you can try, then do so. I can't find it for less than $80, and it's too bad, because that means not much people bought it. It kinda makes me pissed at Nintendo for not putting Earthbound on the Virtual Console. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Well, thats all I can think of to say right now..
