I tried playing this again the other day for the first time in a few months, after 15 mins and trying 3 different maps I found them all too small to even be able to start making a city without being forced to make a grid of houses off in the corner of the map. There is just no freedom in this game.

Cities XL on the other hand has maps so massive you don't know where to start.

This is a great review which tells you just how flawed the game really is. All they needed to do was make an updated version of Simcity 4 and they would of had people throwing money at them however for some reason they tried to make some sort of Sim Village that prevents you from doing most of the things that make simcity great so that you can piss round wondering why all the traffic that wants to drive straight through at the traffic signals refuse to change lanes and pass the one car that is refusing to make a left turn.

@taker254isback At 10 years old you shouldn't be playing such games, you should be outside playing with your new ball.

@mjorh @SKaREO I like how he has played for over 220 hours on-line for what he claims is " a freaking terrible online game". Makes you wonder how much he plays games he likes.

@SKaREO Oh, so complete single player campaign, about 6 different multilayer game modes that run on multiple versions of 10 base maps, a whole bunch of vehicles and weapons that will hardly change with the expansions and online multilayer that will be there working for years without the expansions only equates to 1/2 a game?

Wow I guess that means most game out there are only 1/2 games or maybe even 1/6 games. Maybe cars are only 1/2 cars as well if they don't come with boat trailers?

@SKaREO @bluebird08 Actually its just a remake of space invaders, just with new skins, a few fancy light effects with a fraction of the game content of the original.

Why are people complaining about a 8/10 score? Obviously nobody has played anything other than the beta and given how angry some folk were getting about that being only 2 points short of a perfect score seems pretty good.

Remember on a scale of 10, 5 is meant to be average, 8 is great as it clearly says.
