@Superzone You do not really need to play the first Portal to understand what is going on. It is fairly simple, but there are some things that are from the first. You can play Portal 2 first, but if you have the extra time and money, I highly recommend the first one. :)
@Superzone I haven't played L.A Noire, but from what I've seen, it looks very impressive. Portal 2 is fantastic as well, really great for those who love to get that adrenalin rush when they complete a puzzle. L.A Noire looks probably better, as much as I love Valve, I do love a good mystery.
While it is not vital for some games to be great, multi-player can be a blast. I love games like Mass Effect where I discover new worlds, but sometimes it's just plain fun with a friend around. Depends on the game.
I agree with some restrictions, such as Germany blocking Nazi images, but maybe some parents should actually look into what their kids are playing. Honestly, if a mature adult wants to take a break from reality, he shouldn't be stopped because some parents just buy there kid any game. It's rated R for a reason, you know.
Fox need to wake up. 3D Realms never intended on anyone taking this seriously. It is a parody of 80's action movies, where the hero saves everyone, never fails, and gets all the chicks. Shame on you Fox News. -_-
