i love blizz, buy all their games but i think this game was best left in the past, after LOL and dota these kind of games dont really stack up to much . . . just spent the last 3 acts just holding my wouse down and spending mana when i can for auto in on any battle. the 2nd boss was the only hard bit (hard meaning i died once on it) but after thyat its just run run run and gun . . . seriously, games ok but total let down . . or did i just remember the 2nd one better
gow2 is much more varied, bittom line they are both fantastic games but it took me longer to finsihed gears 2 and i couldnt stop playing it (im not a massive fan of the series either) g2 is a tad bit better which is the way it should be. if epic totally reworked their game engine/mechanics we would be looking at a totlly differnt game an probably saying . . .this is rubbish, kind of like when halo2 came out and we were mad we couldnt blast hogs across the map like in 1. People got used to it and 2 is a much more fulfiling experience imo. 3 came and did more of the same but loosened the physics a bit which gave us a hybrid of the two games. These are just the pinnacles of replayable, hogh quality fun games. Gears is much more serious to me and the way epic have done it this time really made me think . . this looks hopeless at every turn, even when we do win, what have we got left? Great games, good times and ill see you all online
im sick of all this HD talk, especially from editors of this site. Its like they assume everyone has one and we are all editors of gaming sites where this stuff may or may not be GIVEN to us. IMHO graphics should not be the department pushed games atm, it should be game length. Not many games ive been playing atm are lasting over 6 hrs, its come in from work play a few hrs, come back the nect day play a few hrs and then the next day play maybe 20 mins . .END . . Its really getting me down now. We have bigger media storage now but games are getting shorter and shorter and shorter, oh well not to worry at leat we have about 15 mins of mega high poly, smooth as silk animation instead of what could have been 20 more levels, more weapons, extra modes . .nah but who wants to play more games anyway, watching a bit of an FMV is miles better . . . yeah sorry for this post, HD pushing is certainly the way to go.
