Well in truth no it never dies.it defined by those who wish to label it based upon the times and each indvidual.me personally survival horror. is about being in a situations that is not normal.such has having monsters, ghost strange things happening that isn`t the norm.and you have to based on what you have try not to die agains`t those things.i grew up on horror films so i have a unique view on this.as far as i`m concened re 6 is still survival horror.the fact it has strange monster trying to killl me would scare me death. The biggest problem we know it`s not real so how can you get scared of it.people said re 1 was scary.but for me it wasn`t at all. but i played that game when i was 20. but if i played it when i was 8 yeah it would have scared me sure. I hope this helps you a little.
most people who found the earlier re games scary were people playing the game between the ages of 8 and 12.so yeah the game was scary.if you take those same people again and let them play the same games at 18 or older they wont be as scary.it amazes me how young people play game meant for a older group.
Well anyway.i found the older game great but i didn`t find them that scary that much.i had an issue with the fixed camera for me it ruined the experience for me.i did get use to the camera being fixed though. i love the new direction that re is taking.they are taking the old and blending it with the new.
ok i made this topic for everyone to have fun and help people undertand re a little. i want everyone to come up with 3 words to describe re.
i will start with my 3
this applies all the games in the franchise.
