truth you not getting the point sorry to say.the game is not meant for you to be maxed out not until you beat the game once.allowing after beating the game to go back use the salavage you picked in the final fight to do the last of your upgrades.
Y'all are kind of missing the point. The point is to have everything available to you as you play the final missions. There is one final camp after that point of no return, but you haven't really earned any salvage at that point to upgrade anything.
I ended up traveling back to Shantytown and the Beachside map (can't remember name) and found a few bad guys there. The mountain village map also has some, but I had already been back there once before. I then went back to the first camp in the woods and shot deer and rabbits for an hour. Miserable.
Of course the final mission was pretty weak in terms of the fighting. I was hoping/expecting a larger battle than that, more enemies, etc. In the end I really enjoyed the game, I just think this last little bit took away from it a little.
I mean, if you just ran through the game and didn't worry about finding all the collectibles, then fine, you have no reason to complain about not having enough salvage. I, on the other hand, had 100% completion for every map leading up to the final mission. I just felt like that should have resulted in me having more than enough salvage to upgrade everything.acoastal

wow this is uncalled for at all. it reminds of trolling.but on a far note though it just goes to prove how little you know of lara and stories in general.i liked to know were it say in the rules you call your self that she was a gymnast in her earlier year.and if so she doesn`t have the body to be a gymnast in the old and new games either.i can rip everything you said apart but i`m not going to cause i don`t see the point in doing so.
How is game fun if it is a rip off and copy of another game and isn't in line with the original or its story? Because the game plays and has decent graphics that is to be expected of any game bought today. No some of us play game for their originality and we play them for their innovate story lines and characters, this is enjoyment.
No...... The story here makes no freaking sense at all. We have all seen how hot Angelina Jolie was in the film and we all know Lara Croft where her heritage came from and her story from the film and previous games. Where she got her training and why she trained to be a Tomb Raider and were she acquired her riches. She didn't become a tomb raider from being shipwrecked on an island. A rip off cliche from untold creations and you expect me to swallow this crap of her origin. Nothing original here anymore this isn't Lara at all.
When you are shipwrecked on an island you get another boat when the natives have guns, boats and helicopters. obviously not when you must learn to be Tomb Raider before you can actually survive by getting the F outta there?
The bow and arrow came from a dead guy another cliche following that same rip off of the Green Arrow, Hunger Games and so many other shipwrecked island games of late. If she was a millionaire and equipped she would use a crossbow for silent kills they are far more accurate with zoom scopes and compact and the bolts are stronger then arrows.
Your on an island you start a fire the natives come running isn't that obvious? Defeats the whole point of hunting camping and yadda yadda.
Talent skills she already had the talents in pursuit of her Olympic Gold and her Gymnastic's since her early years. She now need new skills in archery durp durp.
Multiplayer this is Tomb Raider about someone who unearths priceless artifacts. Although now she is recruiting to share her treasure with those followers. This kind of defeats the entire point. 15-20 hours of FPS because of the tacked on multiplay yea it is no wonder.
Had she been puzzle solving locating those secret artifacts and relics while killing the undead, beasts, demons in several locations we might have had a longer game then this wannabe Rambo provides shooter provides.
You have to be kidding me at your stupid approach to words the way you attempt to butcher mine. Your lack of knowledge of Lara Croft. I hate when a character I love gets turn into something she is not in a stupid ripped off cliche.ZaoQuan
i read a lot of reviews and see people in comments comparing it to uncharted or even complaining they ripped off uncharted. As far as i`m concerned they are 2 separate games and have no relation to one another other than some minor similarities.i`m getting sick of hearing this especially in reviews. How does everyone else feel about this?
this game maybe a joke to you on hard but i`m dying a lot on normal.and on mp i die a lot also. i`d say every game i own i never go past normal difficulty and in some rare cases i go one difficulty up in certain games.
Played it on Hard, which is a joke its self as it wasn't hard. You can kite the aliens around, felt sort of like I was hearding sheep and not dodging death. I torrented it so can't complain but just another $5 game on steam in a month.SpiiiiiiiiKe
as for re1 again all the keys in the game are in the same lo#ations as are the weapons, ammo and files# they never change so the game is very linear and scripted like all the re game#So you never had a choice if only appears like you do since your walking around the mansion exploring#but the path you follow to complete the game is the sane over and over#hey i beat re1 about 9 times#and i`m smart enough to see this# after the second play through of re 1# As for the cut scenes and quick time in re 6 it`s insulting but a great fresh change to the way games are play today# i hope when they make re7 they make it very similar in many ways#
Ok. I wouldn't say all that. Obviously all the items and weapons are found in the same locations, however, the simple fact that the player is allowed to explore and make their own decisions as to what items they find first and environments they explore first make up for this. The DESTINATION is the same, but the PATH taking you there is unique to each player. Scripted moments did occur, even ones that prompted in-game cutscenes, but these moments were brief, few and far between, making them enjoyable and intense. A smart developer knows that scare-tactics are far more effective when their used against the player in gameplay... because, you know... the PLAYER has to react to it, not the CHARACTER while the player watches. And at least the original games had "arrange mode" which changed the item and enemy locations to encourage replayability. RE6 wants to be a movie. It wants to make sure I experience every little detail of the game EXACTLY the way Capcom thought it out, to a point where the game automatically has the character aim their guns at every sound in the distance (seriously, how is that ok?); all that does is break immersion. There's nothing "great" or "refreshing" about the game condescending to you like you're a complete idiot. Yahtzee Croshaw said it best, go check out his review, it's a barrel of truth and laughs:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/6416-Resident-Evil-6well someone likes to call people an idiot he doesn`t even know very imature. So i will leave you with this. you are nothing more then a low level intellectual who would not see a great game even it was put in front of you.from the way you are talking you don`t even make any sense at all. you don`t even see the the real truth. the first game didn`t allow you to choose a path at all.but since you can`t see this you are very dumb.i will no longer waste my time taking to someone of such a low iq. good day to you sir.
