good to know, I like the beta plays pretty much like COD4 but the dogs are much better and a lot less cheap then the helicopter

As for getting in the beta I am sure you still have a chance, I registered on cod.com on sunday or monday and got a beta code yesterday.

Nope was a great game and still fun to just roam around every now and than. Haven't played SR 2 just because well.. it looks like crap compared to GTA IV.

gamermanps2

Agreed, SR2 looks like a budget rip-off. The only people who were disappointed with GTA were people who expected it to be 5 times better than any game ever made.

Speaking for a lot fo people there aren't you? I for one didn't expect GTA IV to be perfect in anyway cause none of them ever had been, but GTA IV was certainly one of my biggest disappointments in a game ever. Its not because I thought it would be "5 times better than any game ever made" its simply cause it's GTA they're always good with lots of fun whacky crap to do but GTA IV was none of those things the controls where horrible, the graphics are subpar for a next gen game especially the graininess, multiplayer sucks, and for the most part the mandatory missions where boring. Not to mention the "budget rip-off" Saints Row 1 was better then GTA IV

nah takes too long to get new/popular games, never seem to have enough in stock to get out to even half their customers hoenstly its not worth unless you plan on getting games that are 6+ months old

I put down $10 bucks, plus the Pub Game code card thing they gave me has a $10 price on it.

ReverseCycology

Now did you have to put $10 down or was $5 and option? If you did have to put $10 down that is exactly what I am trying to say, Fable 2 is a mandatory $10 pre-order cause of the "free" pub games.

I don't think I had a choice, the guy said it was $10 to preorder Fable 2 and to get the Pub Games at the GameStop I went to.

yeah pretty same thing with though I asked why $10 instead of $5 and they explained the reasoning to me of the pub games which makes perfect sense to me

no pub games axelnomad? I would go get my money back and go some where else, I believe even best buy gives out the pub games with a $10 pre-order as well

Scored so low because its too much like GTA IV of course just like SR1, every review I read does nothing but take this game and compare it to whichever GTA game is closest to its release. They are always some dumb reasons that hold it back or make it not as good according to the reviews yet it seems that all of the problems seemed to vanish from existence with GTA IV came out when they are clearly there ie horrible controls, tedious missions, graining graphics, horrible multiplayer but I tell you SR2 will feel the wrath for any little flaw or messed up detail just because its considered a copycat.

So to answer your question simply more then likely no it did not deserve an 8.2 mroe then likely a higher score though I will find out Tuesday for myself and from what I have seen I can almost guarantee it will be better then GTA IV which was a huge letdown and more like a 7.5 in my opinion.

Legolas_Katarn

what gta4 have you played?

Probably the one with the mostly boring missions, bad multiplayer, and nothing to do when you finish the missions except for hunting pigeons.

I'll be getting Saints Row 2 when it comes out, I've been waiting for this one since I finished the first. Just adding co-op alone makes it better than GTA 4 to me. A lot of reviews at GameRanking in the 9s. The only big site though is IGN.

Exactly what I am talking about, hell the first SR was better then GTA IV. Lets just say the SR is what GTA IV should have been, arcade like and not so realistic, it should be fun, violent, full of crazy missions that are optional, arcade like driving rather then simulation, co-op play, and your basic everyday drugs, alcohol, and ass shaking fun most GTAs are which is exactly what SR is and more. So again I have no doubt SR2 will wipe the floor of that pitiful game GTA IV.

[QUOTE="redmagic123"]yeah you can cancel it but you won't get your money back, why do you think they made you put down $10 rather then $5 it usually is? cause the pub games cost $10 so if you did decide to cancel you still technically paid for it, so again don't expect your money backchoffy

I only had to put down $5 on my fable pre-order.

And you won't get cash back, you will get gamestop store credit.

must of had a stupid gamestop then, they are clearly suppose to have $10 to pre-order the game cause of the pub games

No. Wrong. Only $5

Does that mean that my GameStop is stupid because I gave $5 for Banjo-Kazzoie: Nuts and Bolts, yet I'm going to get the original Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA, which costs $15?

It's five dollars to preorder a game no matter what

read my original post that say "$5 usually cost" meaning I know its only $5 to pre-order a game but for Fable 2 since they give you the pub games card before the game comes out which is a $10 value, it cost $10 instead of the usually $5

As for Banjo its not like you have that code yet, as far as you know you might not get it till the day before launch so again the fact you get the $10 pub games the day you pre-order it rather then a date to be named later is why it costs $10 or at least it did for me. How bout you ReverseCycolog how much did you put down for pre-order.

btw did choffy did you put a pre-order on Fable 2? If so how much did you pay? And yes Gamestop (yours or any other) would be stupid to let someone pre-order Fable 2 for $5 knowing they could cancel anytime and get the pub games for cheaper, that would be losing money which = stupid

ReverseCycolog you will get money back, I have pulled pre-purchases many times at many gamestops and I always get money back just did it last week actually.
