@face76: Seems it is you who doesn't know much about technology either my friend, unless nvidia/Nintendo make massive gains (like 2.5x the current performance) there is no way it will be as powerful as a PS4. Tegra X2 (which is not currently used in any tablet only cars) = 750 gflops, the XB1 = 1300 gflops, the PS4 = 1800 gflops, the PS4 Pro = 4200 gflops, and rumored Scorpio = 6000 gflops. So again unless they make massive gains in speed and cooling all the while using low power comsumption so the battery doesn't drain in less than 2hrs, don't expect the Switch to be more powerful than an XB1 let alone a PS4.

@nintendians: no it won't, that's what I was telling you the tegra X2 chip (nvidia's current best tablet chip currently only used in cars I believe) is about 750 gflops where the current XB1 is 1.3 tflops (1300 gflops) meaning the tegra X2 is around 600 gflops weaker than an XB1 and a 1100 gflops worse than the current PS4 (not the Pro) ie unless they have massive massive gains the Nintendo switch won't even be as powerful as an XB1.

@asmoddeuss: first one I don't think will work since they said the dock is only for charging and tv output, the latter seems likely tho and was kind of what I was suggesting in what I said as well

@asmoddeuss: but how does that work if you need the Switch plug into the dock to use it on the tv? Unlike the WiiU it appears the whole system is inside the tablet/controller this time where as the WiiU pad was a wireless screen connected to the console itself. Assuming it's a touch screen they could have a PiP like feature that you can switch but still wouldn't work great.

@nintendians: you heard wrong the tegra x2 is 1.5 tflops at fp16 which is half operations but is 750 gflops at fp32 (single operations) where the XB1 is at 1.3 tflops and the PS4 is at 1.8 tflops at fp32 ie the XB1 is about 2x stronger the PS4 is 2.5x stronger.

@Thanatos2k: I never said all the games I listed were the most popular games in the world just that a lot of very popular games are f2p which Microsoft wants more of for the XB1, I am fully aware D3 is more popular than Path of Exile hell I play D3 at least once a week still and it's very clear Dirty Bomb doesn't even touch the popularity of CSGO but again that wasn't my point. Fable Legends is a multiplayer game so it fits the mold of f2p games I listed more so World of Tanks, Hearthstone, Warframe, Dirty Bomb, Planetside 2, Path of Exile, Never Winter, Team Fortress are NOT MOBAs only LoL, Dota, Smite & Heroes are MOBAs that I listed so no most of the games I listed are NOT MOBAs only 4 of the 12 games and that was just listing the top played f2p games I could think of off the top of my head, not listing those games while talking about f2p games seems ridiculous considering they are the most popular games in the world.

@lrdfancypants: Hard to argue with Kinect games as most of them have been garbage tho I'd say Disney Fantasia is an excellent game, as for F2P games you can see why Microsoft would want that with some of the most popular games in the world being F2P like LoL, Dota 2, Team Fortress, Never Winter, Smite, World of Tanks, Dirty Bomb, Planetside 2, Warframe, Path of Exile, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm to name a few. And I can tell you from playing Fable Legends beta the game was boring & not worth a release, I was a fan of Lionhead for the Fable series but honestly the games have been disappointments since after the first game Fable 2 was terrible and Fable 3 was only slightly better, as much as I hate to see them get closed and I would of loved to Fable 4 from them this really isn't that surprising.

@Exceed20XX: not to mention the $1,000 PC to make sure the Oculus Rift works good don't forget that, pretty sure all facebook users aren't rocking GTX 970 & high speed i5 to browse Facebook

@beastmode: lol no better deal, how bout just buying a used PS3 and all these games (plus every other PS3 game) that would be cheaper and have more resale value than that PSNow enabled tvs
