Wow, check out the contrast differences for Assassin's Creed...

My specs: AMD Athlon64 3500+ (2.2GHz) 1GB Dual Channel DDR (2x512MB-Mushkin/2CAS) NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT 256MB AGP 8x 1440x900 19" Samsung LCD Runs great on my system, being that it's 2.5 years old, I get 30-80fps with the recommended settings that CoH picks out. The framerate dies on the second mission (the one used for the performance benchmark) with recommended/auto settings but if I set shadows to low, it immediately becomes great again. And it doesn't even look bad on low! Great job, Relic.

wifout_teef: Source is over three years old. Of course you get good framerates. These cards are for new games, not old ones.

God, I love this game...

Unreal: Framerates WILL be a problem in a year or two on the 8800.
