I actually kinda like it because it makes me want to see what would've happened otherwise, and I'm probably gonna play through this again once or twice because of it.
It really hit me during this certain Kara chapter with you, the girl and her dad. I had to do a certain thing, and after I did, it showed me this massive tree of possibilities that could've happened that made me sit back and go "OH SHIT" There was like 5 or 6 different ways this one scenario could've ended, and that was just for this one chapter.
Pretty good game so far. I'm enjoying myself a lot more than Beyond 2 Souls or Heavy Rain. I think they nailed things pretty well this time around.
About 40 hours in so far, and I've still barley unlocked\crafted any of the standard armors, and suddenly after doing the story quest a bit more, a list of advanced armors twice as long pops up.
@vigariox: Seconding this. Look under your name for 'badges', and it'll show you games that have 'card drops' remaining. The trading cards drop randomly as you play, (or just start the game and minimize it to the background if its a game you don't want to play) and you can sell them for some pocketchange here and there.
'So far' they've delivered on the promise to have more available at launch. My store got in about 30 of them, and has a crapload more on the way, as opposed to the grand total of 3 we got for the nintendo classic launch.
I don't want one, but I really hope everyone who wants one for themselves or thier kids gets to have one this time around, and doesn't have to go crawling to the scalpers and other subhumans on ebay.
@SerOlmy: This is another reason I got a refund. My pc is a little beast that can run pretty much everything maxed out, but suddenly this game comes along and chugs nearly as bad as No Mans Sky at launch. I can run Witcher 3 nearly maxed out, theres no way this game should run like junk on my pc.
I gave the ol' 2 hour try on steam, and thankfully I was able to get my money back later.
Too much frustration for too little reward. I don't mind dying in games, i'm a Dark Souls guy, but this was just a miserable experience with not enough payoff to warrant it. I'm guessing its one of those games thats better with friends, like 7 Days to Die. I can see the appeal for certain people in this game, but its just not for me.
