@juliano001 you know, sony always charge us with higher prices, since forever.

they still have the ps3 selling well (remember, the ps2 was seeling very well here untill 2008, cause most people couldn't afford a ps3 or x360), and as other user pointed out, they don't want to canibalize their own market.

also, they probably have less units to sell here, and they probably want to get as much money as possible with these few units until christmas.

i think it's a dumb move from Sony no matter what, but that's how they are.
