AT THE VERY LEAST, gamespot should allow a second opinion from another reviewer (GregK), and average the two scores out. The fact that the hardware (the wii's tiny speaker) was part of a console review is downright outrageous. Gamespot will have bloodshed on their hands if they don't do something to appease us... BTW, looking at Jeff's recent ratings he gave GOW a 9.6. Now tell me that's not biased, please.
I also vote for an un-sticky...'wii prove our promise' is a dumb name for worthless speech that many ppl(myself included) speculated WAY too much about for way too long...the sooner it goes away and fades from memory, the better.

umm.... what? I don't agree with that at all. Cuz well, 600 bucks is the price of a cheap car...not a console for chrissakes.. But I do think the possibility of me waiting till after the holiday rush and fuss to get a Wii is starting to look more and more real. Then I will be able to read reviews and see what works and what doesn't, game-wise on the Wii. Might just go for a few games on the already released and owned console of this new generation instead of taking the plunge for a product that is still a mystery.
I think everybody would have been sooo much less dissapointed with the conference if Nintendo actually.....I know this is just crazy-talk and everything but.....Actually talked to us fans via a website like gamestop and said "GC is not going to be the release date/price speech, just some game stuff" That's all I think we all needed. A little reality from the big N. However, all we got was silence and tons of rumors of great things. So yeah, thanks Nintendo for, as usual, not telling us anything about what to expect. Now we have no idea even about this september thing. All I know is there are some great 360 games I am getting more and more excited about by the minute.
Yeah ppl don't seem to get that this is one of the last BIG...MAJOR...HUGE...press events before launch. Like, where there are international press and 10,000's of gamers looking for news. If they have been keeping a bunch of stuff under wraps, now is time to let it out, at least Some of it. Hell, even some minor announcement about the big ??? that is Nintendo's online service would have been AWESOME. Instead we get 2 games. It is just such a letdown after they showed off what? 20-something games at E3? Now, 3 monthes later and hype is gone from E3 and we get dissapointing bite-sized chunks of info. Please, Nintendo, reward us with _something_ to brag to our friends who believe that nintendo is already dead....

Well, it sure wasn't that they were coming out with a pink DS in europe? If that was even a promise at anytime? I'm still not sure what promise Ninty kept...
Heh damn, even the Official Nintendo forums are lighting up with Tons of negative feedback.... I can't wait till tomorrow, when the rest of the world wakes up and logs on to find out the "good news." They just better be offering one hell of a good price at a real good time(IE not anywhere near Sony's) to make up for this joke PR fest in Leipzig.
