[QUOTE="winner-ps3"]i have the new PSM magazine, they are very unbiased, and they said, "Quite simply, it looks much better on PS3 than the 360 original." and they have added alot of stuff to the game. Also they have used the tilt funtion very well such as to dive and roll away from fire, and control drones. It says, "In most cases using the sixaxis felels more natural" sorry if old, i think this is great news, more and more reasons to get a ps3! note im typing this from my ps3! 2headedhawaiian

If this is true, God bless Ubi. It's about friggin time they decided to put forth some effort in a 360 > ps3 port. Definitely bodes well for R6: Vegas.

well, GRAW2 is developed by Ubisoft Paris whereas R6V is developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the ones who were responsible for the horrible SC:DA port. from what i've heard, Ubisoft Montreal is a team of thousands, so take this with a grain of salt. could have been different people, who knows.

Sigma is a definite purchase for me. the other 2 are "maybes". i may buy vegas depending on how good of a port it is, and i may buy darkness if it turns out to be good.

its a failure for sony in that it did not sell as well as they expected out of the gates. however, sales WILL pickup when more games are released and after price drops. so it will not fail in the way of the dreamcast, but the sales thus far are certainly below sony's expectations. its still up in the air in which system will win this war, so don't count sony out yet. i also think that sony did a very good job in designing the ps3. it truly is a great all around machine and its worth every penny. but their decision to include such expensive hardware in the ps3 will naturally make it expensive which is not a good thing if you want to make a splash in the casual market. anyway, like i said, i think the ps3's sales will pickup. there really is a lack of games right now, but once more games get released, it will start to sell better. and when the big titles roll out, the sales will REALLY pick up.

i don't have either, but i have heard many opinions and read several reviews. the general consensus is that Show has better gameplay but 2K7 looks better.

upscaled with smoothing helps with aliasing. but progressive is sharper. its subjective which looks better. its 480p vs 480i upscaled. if the ps3 upscaled GoW running at 480p, it would look better, but its upscaling 480i. for games that don't support progressive scan, upscaling will look better for sure. for upscaling DVD's, its a whole different matters as pretty much all DVD's support progressive, and from there, you're upscaling to a higher resolution. so its a no brainer to enable upscaling for movies.

its pretty much confirmed that its a timed exclusive. 1. the official UK website only has a PS3 logo. 2. the official US website used to have a Xbox Live logo, but the new site only shows a PS3 logo 3. the trailer showed at Ubisofts event only showed a PS3 logo at the end of it. 4. it has been confirmed at Playsyde that it is a PS3 "exclusive". 5. this rumor is all over the net the main reason why i think Ubisoft is delaying it for the 360, is because of Halo 3. they will most likely release Haze in early 2008 for the 360. what i don't understand, though, is why they delayed it on PC as well, unless it IS an actual PS3 exclusive.

Well my first sytem just died ever out of 19 years of gaming... Do you think I should get a ps3 or a cheap pc gaming rig? I have a hdtv but it doing have 1080p it has 480p 720p and 1080i its crt 34 inch crt hdtv like 3-4 years old. I have surround sound but my reciever doesnt decode the new HD Dts and dolby digital HD only regular dobly ex and dts es.ApocaLypse805
a cheap PC won't play newer games very well and it will still probably cost you more than a ps3. you'd need to spend at least $800-$1000 to build a decent gaming rig, and that will probably be dated within 1-2 years. on the other hand, if you really enjoy FPS, then PC gaming is the way to go. in all honesty, the 360 has reliability issues, and Microsoft STILL hasn't fixed the problem that causes the "ring of death" in the new "Elite" model. there are some units that seem to be reliable, but the failure rate is considerably high. if you want to risk spending another couple hundred on another 360, that won't be a horrible idea, as you probably already have a library of 360 games. but i think the ps3 will be a good choice.

good for you. we don't care. just for god of war? ratchet and clank, resistance, motorstorm, gran turismo, final fantasy xiii and vs, uncharted, heavenly sword, ninja gaiden sigma, god of war, socom, jak and daxter, killzone and LBP are pretty much a lock for the ps3. MGS4 will most likely too, but its probably the most likely to go multiplat out of the bunch i listed, and even MGS4 is VERY likely to remain a ps3 exclusive. not to mention the ps3 is far more reliable, has more potential, and is a better all around multimedia/multi-functional machine. bottom line is, anyone who is unfortunate to only have one of the 3 systems will miss out on something great, ps3 owners included.
