@consolehaven: In 18 months, the 3DS will be dead. I'm calling it now. Why would you support your handheld when your console doubles as such? Just wait. The 3DS games will slow to a trickle and dry up.
At E3 2018 or TGS2018, all Nintendo has to do is announce Pokemon A and Pokemon B for the Nintendo Switch and there you go. That's all it'll take. "You want the new Pokemon? It'll be available on our $300 console. We look forward to your continued support." Nintendo will corner their own market.
The writing is on the wall, too. There's literally 8 3DS games available for retail pre-order. One of those being Fire Emblem Warriors. Nintendo did say "We do plan on announcing more 3DS games to come. Be patient." but that's only to placate the people who only think in the short term. Anyone with common sense can see that Nintendo will be abandoning the 3DS market pretty soon. You think their foray into the mobile market is an accident? Nah.
Again, I'm calling it: In 18 months, the 3DS will be quietly abandoned by Nintendo.
@Metallicwolf29: Let's not forget sticking to cartridges, then sticking to smaller, super compressed discs, or motion controls, or 3D, or a tablet controller.
Nintendo doesn't rely on gimmicks or buck trends... no sir.
@lordossiss: It was a character flaw. Him going against everything he's stood for over the years was part of his character development and eventual redemption at the end of the movie where he CHOSE to not brand Luthor in the prison. It symbolized his moving back from the darkness that plagued his psyche and towards redemption and being more like the fallen Superman.
Next time, pay attention to the entirety of the movie instead of nitpicking pieces of it.
@UnrealPro: I love how people automatically believe that just because a season pass is coming and that DLC is a foregone conclusion, that the game is an incomplete experience. $120 to get the full game? Please.
@calstatebadboy: With a Battlefront 2 at least 2 years away, this would support it in the interim. If they do it any way like they do Battlefield, then this is going to give the game frequent, continuous support for the long term.
These comments are adorable. As if any of you were really swayed by this news. The ones who were going to buy are still going to buy it and the ones who weren't aren't. It's like everyone's jockeying for the best comment instead of providing actual feedback.
Everyone who's going to be using voice chat will already be in a party with friends from their friends list on PC, Xbox Live or PSN. Get over yourselves.
