I just feel cheated. I've bought 2 pcs since vista come out and both times i wasn't allowed to have xp without paying a rediculous amount extra. Now i either have to fork out however many hundred pounds to buy 2 copies of windows 7 or live with vista which they of course will never fix. Just seems like a complete marketing scam. Release a rubbish os to break everyones computer then sell a better one and be praised for solving the problem. Its no better than the people who release viruses that direct you to their anti virus software. How did we get into this state where microsoft rules our lives. I can see why everyone keeps buying a mac now but those of us who just want a computer to work have no options. Either get a mac and live with the lack of compatibility or stick with microsoft and have nothing work.

to those critising me, i never said console graphics were as good as a pcs graphics. I said they were cheaper and in my opinion thats all that matters. If you want to get the graphics you see here (in england at least) your gonna have to spend thousands of pounds unless you can build it yourself (and don't forget not everyone can, i personally need the reassurance of a shop i can go to and shout at when it all goes wrong). Even if you can self build its gonna cost you more than a console. Maybe if you shop around you could find all the parts and get a pc system that beats a 360 for the same price but after all that time and effort, why not just buy a 360? I agree with ansary even though he is argueing the opposite point to me, pcs are for pro gamers. Personally i just want something that can keep me entertained for a few hours a week and i don't care how pretty it is, i favour good gameplay p.s. If anyone cares i have a 360 and a gaming pc with reasonable spec

If you really want to spent thousands on a high tech computer that can do all that and then be obsolete in a year then good for you but im happy with my 360 which i spent £200 on and will never have to spend another penny untill 5 years down the line when the next ones out and i just have spend another couple of hundred. If graphics really means that much to you then fine but i'm still not willing to even buy a hd tv

In my opinion thats worse than my ds phat and m3 card. I can do everything that can do except the little camera thing and who really cares about that. Photo editing was done way back on the gameboy and it wasn't any fun then. As for the potential of eye-toyesque games, that just wouldn't be fun on a portable system. I'm not gonna have loads of friends over and all crowd round the ds am I, its the same reason why guitar hero isn't as good on the ds. I'll sacrafice a camera anyday for gba games and its cheaper.
