I pre-ordered SimCity knowing what I was getting into. Played it when the servers actually let me in, then returned it to Amazon. If I spend $60 on a game I should be entitled to actually play it. It's a decent game but the DRM just kills it. The land size is also a problem. I had a nice city growing and always had to shrink it a bit because of all the restrictions. I am done supporting EA.
I love Counter-Strike, been playing it since it was a Half-Life mod. When I got Half-Life 2 for Christmas and since it came with Counter-Strike Source I was really excited, played that game every day since launch. But after Valve released their latest update, I just didn't feel the game was the same. CSS felt more like TF2 afterwords, with freeze cam and the achievements, something that Counter-Strike was never about. I'm very excited about Counter-Strike Global Offensive though. Something sort of fresh and new but also going back to the roots of what made Counter-Strike...well Counter-Strike.
i will probably upgrade to vista just for DX10 and new games no sense in buying the most expensive version of vista. ither then that Windows Vista is a load of Bull Crap since i cant play many of my favorate games with Vista like Doom 3 ect....ect....
