here's the main problem with WoW: It is a hardcore gamer game, meaning you would have to pay a shit ton of money to be able to enjoy it as it is right now. I mean just look at it, currently it has 5 expansions and another coming up pretty soon and you wanna have all of them, but the main downside is it's a subscription based game. There are a lot of huge MMO's nowadays that offer similar experiences without payed subscription or if they do have those subscription, they offer most of its content free without the need for expansions to pay for.This is why game like Runescape or the newer MMO's like Guild Wars 2 stay quite relevant, because their payment model really helps players, casual or hardcore, to enjoy them more, cause they have the full package without the need to pay for extra content or they just pay once and take their time in the world that the game provides. WoW on the other hand forces you to pay monthly and limits your access to the full experience by making new expansions that you have to pay extra on top of the subscription, thus forcing you to grind through the game without having the luxury of taking in the world around you and that can easily turn off the casual average player, while on the other hand if a hardcore gamer who has all the money doesn't get the epic satisfaction that he payed the shit ton of money for, they will start to express their disappointment in the game and aggravate the community into leaving the game entirely.
I do believe there is a distinct differece in the names to call this dispute bullshit. ghost recon is a name of a game that we refer to as such, while ghost games is a studio that we also call as such or just ghost studio. people dont search for ghost recon by saying the word ghost, we say "ghost recon", because ghost can lead you to exactly what the word means: ghosts. So basically theres no problem there, I would understand if the game was called ghost so then there would be a legitimate dispute, but this is just bullshit
here's what it will take for me to forgive EA for all their bullshit:
1. stop making season passes, pre-order exclusives, first day DLC and "real" ending DLC
2. Let their developer make what they want their way, without any executive bullshit telling them "this is no call of duty"
3. create new original IP's without the same executive bullshit
4. give up the wrights to Star Wars game, especially battlefront and give them back to the original battlefront developers
5. give us Dead Space 4 and stop trying to make it a resident evil clone, cause dead space 3 and resident evil 6 are more or less on par with each other for being an action game
6. get rid of origin
7. give us dedicated servers and let us make our own multiplayer matches without any always online BS or restricting te game to being supported by your shitty servers till you decide to cut support and let the game die, NO
8. publicly admit that you were brainwashing every customer of yours into buying all you stupid battlefield crap and apologize for it by offering every single refund that you owe every single customer you tricked
9. Give a true medal of honor game, not that call of duty clone
@wilson_diabetes: probably once the mod kit for it comes out, but I doubt they will allow for graphics mods to be used and those that sway heavily on performance
