Beat 'em ups are definitely a genre that is lacking on the DS. The only one that I have is Tokyo Beatdown and besides the fact that it didn't get the best scores out there it is still a fun game. The best thing about it is that it has that Streets of Rage feel to it.

I've never played any of the SRT games so I'm really excited about this one. Probably end up picking it up later this week.

I actually do want to buy the game since I really did enjoy the demo. The controls are easy enough and I'm a fan of the lunge feature. I wasn't expecting much from the game but I walked away with a good feeling.

It seems like I've been waiting forever for Nintendo to announce a Wii Kirby game. I'll keep crossing my fingers, maybe E3 will give use some good news.

Please use the DS Recommendation sticky. You'll get some great suggestions there.

I bought some games yesterday from Best Buy. I took advantage of that $10 sale but I didn't find anything for the DS worth buying. I did end up buying a few older games for the DS. I got Zoo Keeper, Feel the Magic, and Unsolved Crimes which has always looked interesting to me

I skipped out on Excite Truck but I'm actually thinking of giving this game a shot. It honestly looks like it is going to be fun. We'll see how it goes though.

I don't know, I might be in the minority here but I'm not really looking for apps for the DSi. Honestly I can use my phone for those other apps. I would be surprised if Nintendo does any of this because it seems like they want to focus on putting stuff out on the DSiWare that is going to take advantage of the system and different types of gameplay elements

I play my DS every single day mostly before I go bed. I carry it with me in my purse to work just in case I have time to play during my lunch break.
