@kozzy1234: Your response was immature. I have a feeling that maybe you're a younger person who has a little bit of growing up to do.

I actually addressed some of your criticisms in my original post -- which was actually meant for people who claim there is a "conspiracy" against Microsoft titles. There will always be reviewers who go against the average score that Metacritic spits out. This reviewer obviously did, and stated very clearly that game-breaking bugs that Microsoft did not fix played a big role in the score given. To other reviewers, they obviously mattered less. It is one opinion. Just like Gamespots lower score for the TLoU was one opinion.

This is something that you need to learn to understand about reviews. I promise you that once you understand this concept, review scores will upset you much less then they do now.

Lastly, it is very curious that you came to the conclusion that Gamespot is the only site I read reviews on. This is quite an idiotic assumption given I gave no indication in my post that I didn't read other sites. Strange.

Enjoy the game.

I thought it was a very good game, but not GOTY material. I didn't really enjoy it until I cranked the difficulty up to insanity on my second playthrough (probably about as hard as normal in DI:O) and experimented a bit more. The game is a casualized mess on default difficulty because it's not obvious enough which regions are suitable for your level. The environments were stunning though, and I liked the story.

No video game should be turned into a movie, ever. The vision never lives up to what people expect.

I used to laugh at Xboxs and tell them they were nuts to pay an online subscription fee for Xbox Live -- and that mine was "free." Well, obviously the joke has always been on me and I would like to formally admit to Xbox owners that you were right, and I was wrong.

Obviously from Day 1 Microsoft has been playing the long game and investing significantly in the infrastructure of Xbox Live. This is proven in the fact they have never compromised their users personal information, "maintenance time" is practically non-existent, and they are able to essentially instantly recover from a DDOS attack.

The Playstation Plus subscription on the other hand, seemingly does nothing but pay for the discounts they offer their users. So tell me -- who is REALLY the big evil corporation who doesn't care about gamers?

Just got back from Best Buy with an Xbox One so I could salvage what's left of my 5-day vacation time.

Goodbye, Sony. It's been a slice. Never again.

Yes, you can definitely play turn-by-turn online. If you buy a new copy of the game, they'll be a card included with an online pass code that you enter when you first load it up. This unlocks all the online. If you get a used copy, you'll need to buy that pass.
