@gamingdevil800: Final Fantasy XI is still readily available, but I agree with your general point. I hope they release some kind of cutscene viewer or something, if not a playable version when that day does finally come. Should still be a long ways off, though.
@just1mohr: That's the first time you've said anything about the PS2. I agree that the PS4 should be able to natively play PS1 and PS2 games. Using words like "evil" is still incredibly childish, and has nothing to do with PSNow anyway. The handful of PS2 games on PSNow actually can be played natively on PS4 (yes, you'd have to buy them), and there are no PS1 games on the service. You're still wrong about PS3 though. Even high end PCs can't properly emulate the PS3 because of its complex architecture. There's no way in hell a PS4 could. Even a PS5 probably couldn't without using actual PS3 hardware. Anyway, this is an old article now and I doubt anyone is still reading any of these comments.
@just1mohr: I'm not going to check every single game on that list, but PS3 didn't start making full retail games available digitally until well into the gen, so most older games were never on the store. A few that I did check are still there. Also, they can't just "bring" any of those games to the PS4. The PS4 doesn't have the physical ability to play any of those games natively. They would have to be reworked by the developers to be able to function on the PS4; it's not as simple as you seem to think it is. Short of putting a physical PS3 inside of a PS4, streaming is the only way it can play PS3 games. I have no interest in streaming either, but please get your facts straight before throwing around words like "evil".
