If it's a game that I really, really want to play now, I'll just buy a PS. I ain't no welfare gamer. I'm sure whenever GTA 6 comes out, I'll likely buy whichever console runs it best. Then I'll box it up, add it to my collection and buy the PC version later. If any of you really enjoyed games as a hobby, it shouldn't be a big deal to own all the consoles if they have the games you like.

@robert_sparkes: If you buy a lot of games, you could recoup the costs through cheaper games. I have bought new titles from "greyware" sites like cdkeys too and can't complain. There are a lot of free give aways of decent games too. Between GOG, Epic and Steam, it can sometimes pay for itself. And although some PC elitists hate the very idea for some reason, prebuilt PC's are generally cheaper than building with the same hardware.

Regardless of how some feel about where and how they purchase hardware and games, all that ultimately matters is your bottom line. Research it out, do the math for hardware and some games you want and see what the price difference is.

Says I reserved mine on Reserved on Fri, July 16, 2021 but not available until Q3. I feel like I did when I kickstarted the Pimax 8k and was within the first 1000 backers but was one of the last people to actually receive it.

Funny how some people let words control them to the point where they know nothing else to do than physically assault. Sad.

Are you actually saying millions of Xbox owners will be selling their Xbox'es and purchasing Playstations for a 10 year old game in order to save $10?

The fk?

RD2 has a lot more depth to offer. While it's slower paced, it has better physics, A.i. and more varied landscape. You can also have a lot more fun messing with the NPC's. You can't do much of anything in CP other than follow the mission objectives.

Shame that the developers seem to have played with VR option in the beginning but never released it other than leaving the files behind. It's definitely the type of game perfect for that.

So? I don't give a **** about Trump or Biden voting counties.

No because there's no way of knowing the long term effects yet. It's not like the FDA doesn't recall over a thousand drugs per year after they approve it for use. Since mRNA is a new thing, my luck would be in 10 yrs from now, some new research shows that it's linked to causing Alzhiemer's or something.

Natural selection. If I'm too weak to survive COVID, then maybe nature is hinting something.

The real draw is the fact that you can play any PC game ever made on the same hardware for the most part. However it appears that the cost of GPU's may never really return to "sane" levels. I mean even the MSRP prices just aren't worth it to me anymore and now that inflation is hitting all products, I don't expect any higher end card to ever be reasonable. I still have a regular GTX 1080 that was about $800 and while it's still fine for 1080p gaming, it's significance is declining for me and I don't think I'm really going to keep paying these kinds of prices.

So I once my PC hardware and VR setup is mostly archaic, I'll probably just get a console because $500 for a complete setup is much more sane for gaming even if I don't have every bell and whistle with a max option and my current to old library will likely work fine on a laptop by that time.
