If you're just starting out with Joshua and finding it very hard to multitask half of the time, send Joshua up into midair, focus your attention on Neku and spam press Joshua's commands. Good or bad, Joshua has greatly increased firepower while he's floating.

Noob tactic I know, but it worked for me :P You don't have to master both screens to be good at the game, so long as you choose the right balance of pins for Neku with swipe commands or taps you can pull off conveniently.

Thanks. Were you able to beat the whole game with that strategy?

Joshua was my favorite partner for a reason :) I can't beat the whole game with that strategy though mainly because the game won't let me use Joshua the whole way through :P

As for the other partners, you can still get by if your bottom-screen commands aren't too complicated. Choose simple, easy to master pins.

Everyone is forgetting that Tri was the first MH to ever have a heavy emphasis on online.

ANIMEguy10034

And MH3G should have the same emphasis if Capcom wants the game to sell more outside of Japan.

The point is, I just hope expectations for this are kept low because there hasn't been a single portable Monster Hunter with online before. I understand almost all of us here got started on MH through Tri (instead of Freedom Unite), so there would be a lot of people who boot up an MH expecting to see online when the series never had much exposure to online multiplayer in the first place, which would be a bit unfair to it. Of course I know it's great to have.

[QUOTE="rubber-chicken"]Pikmin Wii edition, didn't even start it :PChickan_117

You should, it's awesome. A little easy unfortunately (lack of time limit makes it a real gimme) but the controls work and it's great fun.

Pikmin does have a time limit, unless you were talking about Pikmin 2.

Sorry, you can't do that. I don't know about being able to redownload at no extra cost since I don't have much experience with the Wii Shop, but I do know you can't transfer them freely.

Well hey, MH Portable 3rd didn't have online, so I'm cool.

Everyone is forgetting that Tri was the first MH to ever have a heavy emphasis on online.

1. None of us know how much it will cost.
2. A large part of the innovation is down to how well developers use the controller, not its raw function.
3. Pictures on the Internet make everything look bigger than they actually are.
4. Just seeing a few pieces of footage and a photo of a console you haven't even tried is not enough to judge it, whether you think it is good or bad.

[QUOTE="osan0"]also ninty are not exactly innocent of pushing poor graphics on the wii also. wii play is a joke the two WS games are not exactly xenoblade caliber in the visuals department either. wii music is a farce.superbuuman

And those casual party games need great graphics....why?

it shows effort & if this "Go Vacation" (Wii) plays as well as it looks then its already alot better than the 2 Wii sports game Nintendo release.

http://au.gamespot.com/forums/topic/28842452/nintendo-publishing-go-vacation-this-fall-in-europe-

Having genuine effort put into any game, even a minigame collection, is great, but will its target audience appreciate the difference between them as much as we do (specifically comparing Go Vacation and the WS games)? I'm not saying it can't have good graphics, just that in a case like this it's more for polish rather than a genuine necessity for it to feel right.

By the way I do love how Go Vacation is shaping up though.
