Instead of something as stupid as graphics comparison how about we do these: 1. How easily a game disc gets scratched comparison. 2. Online capabilities and features comparison. 3. System reliability comparison. 4. Controller price and features comparison 5. System price and features you get comparison 6. Exclusive games rated higher than 8.0 lists comparison Since those comparisons are only based on the true hard facts and not picking and choosing screen shots that favor one system over another, or on what TV they used each system on, try something like that Gamespot.

I 100% agree that the multi platform games look better on 360. PS3 exclusives are amazing. 360 is a great system but it's number 1 flaw is reliability...In the past I have had three 360s break on me, my brother had two, my best friend had two, and my boyfriend had two. Yet I've had ONE ps3 that still remains living strong. Graphically the games are pretty much the same, and for that small marginal plus that the 360 has in multi platform games, its not worth re-buying a system constantly because it was poorly engineered. Go PS3.

Okay Vividnightmare first of all, check the back of ps3 games, there are many that say 1080p. Although I can't recall a game off the top of my head that has one myself, I do browse through gamestop and find some games that do indeed run at 1080p. You are right that A LOT of games are only at 720p, but there are a good amount that are HDMI. And as to why xbox 360 discs aren't "true HD" is the same reason Blu ray was thought to begin with. If DVDs supported true High definition people wouldn't have sat around and invented HD dvds and Blu ray. So 360 will never output in "true" high definition 1080p for as long as it uses dvds for there games. One good example of the blu rays showing the future technology is FFXIII, the game is 50gbs big and the game will be heavily compressed to 3 dual layer dvds for the 360 version when it can be burned on a single dual layer blu ray. And as for Component and HDMI, HDMI and DVI is digital and component is analog. Digital is better and sharper image so the only other input that is as good and are the same is DVI and HDMI.

And I would like to add: I noticed a lot of the time these screen shots for the PS3 make it look blurry and not crisp. As I said before I own both systems, and the PS3 does NOT look as blurry as it is often portrayed on screen shots. Only version that looked significantly blurrier was GTA4, but that's because 360's is on 720p and PS3 on 640p. Of COURSE the PS3's would look blurrier then. Then again, most of us looking at this are using a VGA or DVI cable to our monitors, we would have be looking at it though HDMI to see a TRUE screen shot difference. But who really can afford a video card/monitor with HDMI output?

I agree with merrill25, I always find these comparisons or anything always in favor in 360. I own both and both run on HDMI. I buy my games for the PS3, in my opinion graphics wise both systems look no different, but I hate paying for online so i get it for PS3 instead.
