I don't think most of my friends are even getting a new console, so it won't be playing much of a factor for me. I'm still undecided though. Xbox One's exclusives appeal to me more and I prefer the Xbox controller, but PS4 is cheaper and I feel like the multiplatform games will be better on PS4. I may eventually just get both. I'm not planning on getting either at launch anyway.
I think a 7 is a very fair score for GTA Online. Despite it's many issues at launch that some people are still experiencing, it has a ton of potential to be truly outstanding when R* adds new content and variety to missions and whatnot.
@deschutes I could understand giving it a 7.5 because you didn't like the story or the gameplay or something, but graphics? Really? You lowered the score that much just because of graphics?
Nice to see someone had the balls to tell it like it is. Most other sites are gushing about this game for no good reason, a 6/10 is a very fair score for this game that's full of recycled content. Now if only reviewers would apply this same train of thought with Call of Duty...
Sports games simply don't warrant a yearly purchase in my opinion because the changes and additions are very minor compared to other games. Sports games would be better received if they were released every other year, and in off years, maybe release a Roster Update to keep teams and players up to date. But, in a world driven by money, that will never happen.
