@somesthetic

Did you know 85% of all communication is visual? I do and i'm sure the majority of people on this site find visual communication far more important than written communication (this is a video game site dont forget) when discussingcasual issues.So why bother?

The majority of people really don't wanna hear it. Now I'll help you out (and i'm being serious, not mean,) and say it's really important you learn that people dont like having their flaws constantly pointed out and the sooner you learn that, the better off you'll be in your own communication/social skills. In short, people won't like you in general if you continue to do that.Not because you do it to be ignorant but simply becauseyou just come off as if you are. I'm sure many will agree. But hey thats just me and a couple other people on this forum though....

@ somesthetic

I don't understand what your problem is. For someone who seems to be so well educated (key word being "seems"), and who clearly has an interest in english literature, it boggles my mind to see you have well over 2000 posts on1 video game forum.Why dont you become a real writer and graduate from the ignorant forum whore who just loves to go around pointing out people's mistakes. That, or become a teacher...either way stop being an a**

it may bek the way you have it, but still, i personally would NOT put it there. I leave mine in an open place... How much space is between the back of the PS3 and the wall? If theres nominal space and maybe even a few inches between the back of your entertainment centre and the wall then it should be ok. But you have to think, if theres no breeze near where the air comes out (top and back) then that warm air just sits there. Then more and more warm aire is packed there and it could slow it down or fry it. Also think of how it would do say if that room got really warm? like your a/c wasnt on during the summer or you had it full of friends...that wouldnt be good for an already minimally ventilated ps3....just my honest opinion though...

dont look to far into it man. ITs not a true playstation 3 game since its a more complete version of the original tekken 5. Think of it more as a playstation 2.5 game

Ummm your best bet would be to  hook your ps3 up to your tv via hdmi then hook your surround sound to the output of your tv (goin into the surround sound's primary input). Then depending on your tv you should be able to hear sound from both (if your tv has a function to play sound through it's speakers while sending an output signal to your surround, or if it does this by default -- My panasonic has the option). You should also be able to hook up your other devices (like dvd player) to your surround using cables going from the devices output to the surround's input 2 (whatever its called, it may be called dvd, aux, line-in, etc).

 Try this out and let me know if this helps...

[QUOTE="GARRYTH"]it wouldn't hurt to have one if you want to spend the money but it is fine with out it.---SLUG---

it actually can hurt, fans forcing extra air into the console puts more strain on the original fans. extra force that a component wasn't designed for is never a good thing. lol there isn't one good thing about "cooler's"

Actually these fans dont push air into the system, they draw air out of the system, just like pc fans or anything else. I wouldnt think you'd need it though unless as someone said, its going to be in a location where it has no room to breathe. And when I say room to breath, I mean it should probably have at least 2ftx2ftx2ft of open space so the hot air can be properly expelled and carried away from the console
