<< LINK REMOVED >> Fucking THANK you. I don't expect every game to reach Bioshock Infinite-like levels of writing and story. So much of the time I'd just be happy with a story that even makes sense. Apparently it's too much to ask.
Look, I'm still pumped for this game, don't get me wrong. But why on earth did they make the player character some loudmouthed obnoxious Yankee backpacker dickhead who's never wielded anything more dangerous than a TV remote? How does that make it a more "credible experience"? I've never tried to cut someone's throat and then murder someone 20 feet away by throwing the knife into their chest (like Jason does in the video) but I gotta say I don't think it would end well for me.
...also, this video was excellent. While I probably share the pessimism about any of these ideas actually being implemented, it's great to have journalistic content putting the ideas out there. This beer's for you, gentlemen.
