rofl @ Wildboy124 What's the point of bringing that up ; Guitar Freaks and Drummania came before Guitar Hero, that doesn't mean GH is a bad game... Considering that fact why should GH seem so original to you ?... Maybe you didn't know about those games because they are japanese games, but the fact of the matter is still that it's irrelevant what game came first ; if you like that genre the more games the better and if you don't well no one is forcing you to buy them... ...And thats funny the pedal now looks exactly like the one I bought 2 weeks ago and had to "upgrade" with the metal plate and rivets heh...because it didn't last one single day of Keith Moon impersonations with "The best of The Who for RockBand" lol

Way to spew disinformation GS... First of all this guy looks like he runs his games on very badly calibrated monitors. Second of all this is subjective, some people can observe that the supposedly "sharper textures" [sic] of the XBox make the game look more jaggy and unreal. Light diffusion is what make objects look faded and blurry in the distance. Look at the last example, (Assassin6.jpg & Assassin2_2.jpg) the guards between the towers look better on the PS3 to me. If you think they look better on the 360, OK you're entitled to your opinion, but I can have mine too bub. "We captured all 720p images ..." OK so I guess capping in 1080p could have showed XBox to be less powerful so they went with 720p... "Now with both consoles well into their respective life cycles, developers have had plenty of time to figure out the nuances required to code beautiful games." OK you obviously don't know anything... The PS3 isn't "well into its life cycle", it took 3 years for "beautiful games" like Metal Gear Solid to come out on the PS1. The XBox is based on DirecX as far as graphics go ; lots of people knew how to code for it when it came out... The Playstation is a another thing entirely, lots of SDK reading and trial/error when programming for a console the first couple of years when you have to learn from scratch. The way you compare these two consoles is ridiculous, as if the PS3 spent the same ammount of time in devs hands... You say the XBox has sharper textures, I just think they look more exagerated and cartoony for a supposedly realistic game like Assassin's Creed. You are comparing a game that was created for Windows, XBox and PS3, with what platform in mind do you think they developped the game?? You say we have to come up with tricks and excuses to say the PS3 is better??? I love the PS3 controller, I hate the XBox's I love to go online free, I would never give a dime to XLive (I have a 360 too) I don't care for any XBox exclusive game... Gran Turismo, Metal Gear, those i care about. Stop equalling developpers laziness & not taking proper time developping for PS3 with XBox having better graphics. Actually comparing a game that didn't come out 4 months ago could have made the comparaison fairer, since that with every month that pass, developpers get more acquainted with the PS3. It has been a long time since the XBox outdid itself as far as graphics go, developpers are hitting the graphic ceiling and they cannot further improve image quality without adverse effect on frame-rates. You want a fair comparaison? How about comparing a first or second generation racing game for both of those consoles? Those games stretch the hardware for frame-rates and polys and there's always one of 'em at launch or soon after... Compare Turismo to any first or second generation XBox racer graphic-wise. Just count the number of cars in GTA4 in both versions in Algonquin, if you want an unfair comparaison for the XBox with the PS3 coming out on top. Bottom line is the 360 had more time under developper scrutiny even before it was out than the PS3 has now because North American devs are used to working with DirecX.
