When people say 1000 or less pc they expect all the components for it to properly.

For 500 building a brand new pc from scratch wont compete with one x that plays 4k 60fps gears and forza.

Also some people got one x recently on black friday for 350 with 60 game included for free.

With all this I only mean to make clear consoles arent trash like most people on this forum want everyone to believe.

And next gen consoles will once again provide amazing value for the price. Great price performance.

The funny part is that when I got xbox 360 I got blown away. (720p small tv and games looked amazing good).

Now in 2019 Im not blown away anymore.

People fight over minor graphical differences as if they were leaps and bounds ahead and then theres me looking at both monitors having a hard time to see the differences.

If you get for 180€ / 200$ then one s is a pretty nice machine. If you pay full price then its not worth it.

Price goes down to 180 several times during the year since release. Just buy when its cheap

Xbox one x costed me 349€ on black friday (but normal price is 499€).

Its a full system with case. Psu. Water vapor cooling. Cpu. Gpu. Ram. Hdd. 4k disk drive. Bluethooth and wifi motherboard.

I imagine ps5 and xbox scarllet december 2020 for 500 price each or even 400.

They both will be better than one x obviously.

But what specs? We can only guess.

Id say this being the first 7nm amd gpu that in 2 years they will release better and more refined gpu's. For now we are all guessing and making bets.

I own both ps4 pro and xbox one x. Both are nice IF you paid 100+ less like me (I only bought ps4 pro for 280€ with 2 games 2 controllers 2017 black friday) and got one x black friday 2018 for 349€ with 1 game and controller. They are good machines on their normal price but if you manage to buy either ps4 pro or xbox one x at 100+ reduced price then they instantly become an amazing purchage

Good pc + ps4 + switch is the best gamer combo right now.

Xbox one x is a viable option for gamers price performance wise. But if you can spend more Id say pc.

Another combo could be xbox one s at 170€ + ps4 pro at 299€ (at such low price xbox one s is nice to play forza and gears of war as well other microsoft games)

On topic: yes I am into pc gaming. But with nvidea gpu price raise made me step back a little. Msrp of gpus went up 100 and more (1070 vs 2070 for example had a rise of 130€ in pure MSRP) which if kept will keep me away from upgrading

Games that last very very long combined with being an actually good game is my sweet spot xD
