The reality of it all:

"However, Ubisoft provides a test-case. We are almost two years into its aggressive attack on PC piracy. Recently, Ubisoftcalled its "always-on" DRM a success, claiming "a clear reduction in piracy."
In terms of actual sales, however, the results seem decidedly mixed. Michael Pachter told Eurogamer that Ubisoft's "PC game sales are down 90% without a corresponding lift in console sales."

Ubisoft, the company with the worst form of drm out there is complaining that people don´t buy enough copies of their games on the PC?
Gee...I wonder why? .lol:

I haven't bought a single Ubisoft game since their ridiculous drm came in effect, it was a personal decision and now I am glad I followed through and its seems its not only me but big numbers of people as we are seeing Ubisoft giving their honest opinions on what they they think of PC gamers in recent months by suffering from no one buying their games anymore.
First the From Dust fiasco, then the Driver San Francisco guy complaining about piracy now this guy and Ghost Recon Future Soldier being cancelled for PC. They have been very hostile towards pc but its seem they are feeling the effects now and taking things up another notch. Great PR & CUSTOMER service.
Last Ubisoft game I bought was R.U.S.E and that was only after I found out it was Steamworks which was a surprise and furthermore it has been constantly in top 100 steam most played games list. I would like to play a certain number of games but I can deal with it. They wonder why their business is non existent on PC anymore. Whilst its unfortunate its not really a loss to miss out on some interesting games for me when the reality is the game market is flooded with top quality games at the moment that I simply don't have time for all of them so I can do without some and make up the backlog I have for so many other games.
Its funny to see a lot of companies finding great success on pc recently yet Ubisoft are one of the few who are only suffering due to there treatment of customers as pirates. Sonic Generations by Sega no one was expecting it to come to pc but it was announced really late and came as a surprise and now I have bought it and its been on the Steam top sellers list for a while.
