Splinter Cell of course. It's not even a competition. But that's in an ideal world. In this world, neither. Ubisoft can't make a good game anymore.

No, no, no, nooooooooooo! How will I get my Ubisoft memes now.
Yeah, that's the most important thing to focus on in the world, right? It's not like there are plethora of other more pressing concerns than console wars.
Nope. If anything they have rose tinted glasses and especially lems after the whole MS acquisition. Tried twice to get into Bethesda garbage and quit after maybe a couple of hours at most. Absolute garbage.
Generally speaking, most of Sony's exclusives (when being made by an independent dev before becoming a first party dev) were not shown to the public or announced as multiplatform. Besides Everybody's Gone to the Rapture what other games were first shown/announced as multiplat? maybe Shenmue 3?
At the end of the day, there's nothing really wrong legally with the way MS is handling its business- I just think the way Sony has generally done it since the PS3 era makes more sense for them and for the public. I was totally fine with the independent dev acquisitions MS was doing in 2018-2019 (mind you, almost all these devs were already working with MS exclusively on IP anyways)- it was only when they started going after publishers that I began to have a problem with it.
Sorry, the rule about publishers and developers is arbitrary to save face. If you're against consolidation then you should be against everyone. Almost the entire Sony first party is made up of acquisitions. As for you were okay with MS acquisitions in 2018, I bet you were. Cows were laughing and saying MS doesn't care about Xbox because they bought cheap studios no one cares about or how Sony invests big money when they do acquisitions. I remember someone saying that Sony is planning something big when they first invested in Epic compared to MS or there were celebrations about the mere rumours of Sony buying Take2 long before MS bought Bethesda. Hell the same cows are hoping that Sony buys some publishers and jump to every rumour regarding that.
It shouldn't need to be stated but an independent dev working on an IP with a publisher, then that publisher buying out the dev, is nowhere near the same as a publisher buying out another publisher with many devs and existing multiplatform IP.
As I said arbitary rules due to the size of wallet. Sony has been buying publishers in other businesses. They just can't afford in gaming.

Don't know what the f**k is wrong with these watch dogs. So they just changed their tune because MS showed how Sony also engages in the same behavior? How does that change the fact that the very behavior is anti-competitive?
@pc_rocks: I only quoted the article and linked. No claims were made in my initial comment. You on the other hand made a claim that unreal occupies more that 90% of the game engine market and have yet to provide any evidence of such a claim. Instead you have been deflecting. So, where is the source?๐
I think you should recheck my comment before you post that I did not provide a source to my claim.
Yeah, right. Sorry, what were you saying about deflection or a lack of evidence?
@pc_rocks: The comment is literally linked.๐Still struggling to find your sources on Unreal being more than 90% if the market.
I know you linked an article but I'm asking for a source - something tangible, not just TrustMeBro.
