Do you even know how samples work? As long as it's random, the results will be almost the same no matter the size of the sample.

thew13

False. Need a sample size large enough to generate an accurate poll.

True, but 5000 is easily a large enough sample size to represent 34 million.

True that, just saying, samples aren't accurate just because of randomness.

How would a larger size make it more accurate if it's random? :| Do you know how percentages and ratios work? This is basic math we're talking about here. The results of a random sample of 100 people will be the same as the results of a 1000-person sample if both are random.

Then in a room full of 100 people, if I randomly selected one person and asked him if he had a pencil and he said no. Then by that random polling I have determined that 100% of the population does not carry a pencil with them. Accurate, no?

[QUOTE="Cait__Sith"][QUOTE="gmc2u_64"]...seriously? 5,000 out of 34 MILLION + is an "Accurate Representation"?

...you CAN"T be serious.

Aku101

Yeah 5000/34000000 is not an accurate representation. I mean thats a 0.014% of all 360 owners...lol

[QUOTE="Indie_Hitman"][QUOTE="Silverbond"][QUOTE="Generalmojo"] In that case, all the ps2 and ps1 AAA titles i can play on my old ps3 beat your 360/PC titles

No. Not at all. :|

He's right to be fair to him. Its the same logic. 360 cant play them but PS3 can.

You can't really say that since it isn't available on some skus of the PS3. The logic is similar, but it isn't as sound.

So I'm assuming that everyone here who is super anti-piracy ("Pirates are thieves, stealing etc.") doesn't download any music illegally?

TBoogy

I know when you do these things, you think "everybody does it", but they really don't. I don't know a pirate and everybody I know is a gamer.

To answer your question, no I don't pirate music either. I have a Zune Pass.

Alright fair enough, just from my own experience, people will not hesitate to call a pirate a murderer, but shrug off any music piracy.
