So you spent extra on the Collectors edition and you didn't get Extraction for free? Wow, that's just wrong. I ordered the regular edition from Amazon, hopefully it will be a Limited Edition one.ultimameteora

Extraction is on the Collectors Edition, I just didn't know that it was also included on the regular or "limited edition". I had no desire for the other stuff in the CE except Extraction. Oh well, I can't be too mad. Amazon is awesome with the promotion credits for other pre-orders that I don't feel like it's like that much of a loss!

[QUOTE="paul52181"]

Hate to tell you, but it's not a free game. You either pay an extra $20 (Extraction/Soundtrack) to get it on the Collectors Edition or $15 from PSN.

xsynth

I got limited which has it, and it's exactly the same price as the standard

Well that sucks for me then! I bought from Amazon and they only offered the Regular and Collectors Edition, not Limited.

UPDATE: Just checked gamestop and they list it as a Limited Edition, so I guess the regular edition is the same as the Limited. Both gamestop and amazon make no mention that it includes Extraction. What a waste of $20!

It takes 3.5GB to install Dead Space Extraction?! I'm pissed that I need to give any HDD space to a game that is supposed to be on the disc. What a bunch of crap EA! My whole purpose in paying the extra $5 (factoring in the $15 for PSN download of Extraction) for the collectors edition was so I didn't have to give up HDD space! That is so greedy of you EA, next time be clear on the details before screwing over your fans for the extra $5!

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I really don't feel like searching for it. Can you turn off the floating number damage that appears on enemies? I don't know why, but that feature is a major turnoff for me and I seriously wouldn't buy the game unless I could turn it off.

Wow, I can't believe DICE never patched that yellow staircase bug in Mirror's Edge! I'm playing through it again since I love the game and even downloaded v1.01, but the game still freezes on that damn yellow staircase! That's really pathetic and IMO unacceptable in today's systems to have to deal with crap like this. Oh well, I guess I'll try it over and over until it doesn't freeze up on me...

No offense dude, but I wasn't quite asking for your opinions on what method of movie watching you prefer. If you're not here to answer my question, why bother posting?

I know that a while back there was an issue getting a Blu Ray movie to display in 720p or 1080i with a non-1080p HDTV. Is this still the case? I have a 720p/1080i HDTV and it seems like it is being downscaled to 480p when I watch a Blu Ray. It really doesn't look any better than watching a regular DVD. Is there any way for me to tell? Can I go the XMB while watching a Blu Ray to check the display settings and see if it downscales to 480p? I've set my display to 720p and 1080i, but it doesn't seem to look like an HD picture to me. Yes, I have the latest and greatest firmware on my PS3. Thanks.

[QUOTE="bronxxbombers"]I am honestly LOLing right now saying the a poll that anybody could enter is more exact then a survey conducted by a warranty company. Pretty pathetic really.vaderhater

They are just jealous, desparate, third place console owning fanboys. That is really about it.

Like I said before...without all the failures and repurchases the 360 would be in 3rd place so stop being an immature fanboy and bragging about a piece of trash. I know it's been said a billion times already, but do you ignorant Xbots forget that the360 had a 1 year head start on the PS3 yet you only lead by 7 million?? With the new PS3 price drop and great exclusives it's only a matter of time. In the coming years the 360 will be outdated and far, far behind the PS3 in sales..just wait and see.

No sympathy for you here. The warranty is 3 years and you've had it longer. When you open a new 360 there is a service plan for $50 you can send in for, it covers for 2 years any problems. I got that, it goes into effect after the 3 year warranty, so I'm covered 5 years for 50 bucks. When the warranty on your car goes do you pay for the mechanic to fix it or cry about GM?cainetao11

Sorry, but there was no $50 service plan with launch consoles and if there were I certainly wouldn't have been duped into buying it anyway. And because I've had it for more than 3 years and it broke I should be ok with that? Sorry, but my Nintendo from 1987 still works....if you think 3 years isa long shelf life for an expensive piece of electronics then you have problems. Yea, go ahead and compare cars and Xboxes, that's a good point to make on a video game website forum...
