If they can fix it you will be getting yours back I believe, so your files at Microsoft won't be messed up if you regestered it. If they cannot fix it...say goodbye to your harddrive
The thing is that the the ENTIRE GAME levels with you. So the higher your level the enemies get very tough, make your primary skills on skills you will use all the time so all of you stats will raise equally. Don't raise one stat at a time.
If you raise your alchemy skill to 100 the game will just see your level and figure you can take monsters at your level, while your sword/attack skill might be at like 19 and not be able to do much damage while you get torn limb from limb. But if you level each stat 1-2 points at a time you will be able to take on whatever the game throws at you.
