As we speak the game is 97% funded. I'm really hoping the initial funding goal is met today.

Kindred Fates has just released their Kickstarter. Already 24k on second day. The reason the goal is low by the way is because the developer does have investors and they just want to see 50k to know there is enough interest in the game.

Differences from Pokemon:

-real time combat

-open world

-can be nuzlocked (kinfolk can die)

-house customization

-create a guild/gym stretch goal

-all Kinfolk are monotype (all though some can have other type moves)

-artists who have worked on the game have also worked on Dragon Prince

-mountable kinfolk (similiar to Pokemon Let's Go)

-103 kinfolk to start, more if kickstarter stretch goals are reached

-not an mmo like temtem, but includes multiplayer for pvp and trading

-drm free version

For more information, you can check the game's site here:

Hello all,

I haven't been on this forum in a while, but I decided to come out of my retirement.

There is a game which to me is really cool. It's what I think is the perfect monster taming game. It's called Kindred Fates.

Their main site is:

https://www.skymillstudios.com/

What makes it different from Pokemon? Alot! A more serious and complex store. An open-world like Breath of Wild. A real-time combat system which can be seen this combat teaser:

For me personally, I like it because it will have a drm-free version. There is mountable kinfolk (the creatures) you can ride. You can still collect and show off your "shiny" kinfolk. The devs are amazing people based out of Ohio. I also really like the anime art style. To me, it's the only aspect closest to Pokemon because they want their art style to represent the gen 1 anime style used in Pokemon.

If you'd like to find out more the discord has the devs doing a Q & A. Reddit also gets new content when it's released.

I love you all at GameSpot and hope you all have a great day!

Hey I think it's worth it. I'm just too poor to have one.

I'm a fear monger. I think the day will come when Steam will charge us to use their services or Steam shuts down and I lose my games. I like to own and be able to sell or trade games at my will and not have to worry about the possibility of rebuying games I really like. I'm not sure companies will ever fully support GoG. Developers fear their content will be pirated.

What is the easiest and most casual fighting game on Ps4 and also still has a good amount of people playing?

I remember Power Stone was fun and light hearted on Dreamcast. I dont like Brawlhalla.

I heard Injustice 2 and the bandai fighting games are pretty casual. Im not sure though.

Fighters tend to be better on consoles while I think shooters are better for PC. Kingdom Hearts 3, Spiderman, Digimon Hackers Memory, and FF7 remake are a just some to name on the PS4 coming out for 2018.

Also, if you buy on PC realize most games you are renting and not actually buying. More AAA games are using denovo. So if you like owning your games, consoles are the way to go.

What are some games similar to Secrets of Grindea?

What are other rpg games with a customizable house?

Thank you!

So far the only one I know of is PacMan Championship 2 and PacMania 256. However I see a bunch of them by Adult Swim Games, but Im not sure Adult Swim Games would be considered AAA?

Would Toe Jam and Earl be considered an arcade style game? I've never understood the gameplay and I know a new one is coming out next year.

Does SNK have any new Metal Slugs planned? Any new kart racers by any AAA devs planned? Any new Tetris games planned?

Thank you!
