No one is surprised about the gaming media being corrupt but I honestly never expected a "favors" for favors, censorship and such a blatant click bait agenda. At this point, IGN taking money and putting on banners of a certain game while giving it a tenouttaten is a lesser evil.

And your view is that it emulates sport better? ehmm, do you know that sport is not all the same and there is a difference? Football is not Basketball and NHL is not Football. And for people who wants to play a football game , its pointless to come and tell them that NBA 2k is way better at emulating Basketball like it would be equally as pointless for people wanting to play Hockey that Football might be better. Not to forget that it doesnt even makes sense to compare how the games are made for the same reason, Its different sports and different games.

Me and others want to see a higher standard applied to football games in terms of overall presentation, game modes, graphics, attention to detail, etc. A few years ago EA had to elevate their game to beat PES and they created a new game from zero to be on par with people's expectations of what a football game should be in that era. Now, I expect more than a few tweaks on the last gen engine and PES is yet to find itself since the PS2 days.
If just like you said Football is the biggest sport in the world... then why we get player models like this on PS4:
