@PAL360 They aren't technically even, not by a long shot. That's the thing that can't be argued. Which produces better results is up for debate, because on anything that is on both it normally looks better on 360, but in terms of the raw statistics and hardware each possesses the PS3 is more powerful. It's not a thought, it's a fact. Look at Uncharted 2 or the upcoming Heavy Rain and then look at anything the 360 has and tell me it's just as powerful. The reason the difference can't be noticed is that games are made for the 360 and then ported to the PS3 because building from the ground up for both is too costly, and porting to the 360 would take longer than porting to PS3. There is a monumental difference in graphics quality on multi-platform games on the PS3, and ones designed from scratch specifically for it.
After having looked at all five pages I genuinely can't see that much of a difference. It just looks like the PS3 versions of each shot are darker... which to me actually looks better, but hey, I own a PS3, so I must be a fan-boy.
I'd pay to buy one, but I wouldn't pay the subscription to actually use it so no point really. Although I have to say this seems like borderline magic to me, one server running HD games and streaming it instantly to potentially hundreds of thousands of homes... crazy
I doubt it will have the ability to enhance previous games, unless they've had it planned from the start which I don't think they have. Surely extra code needs to be put into the games to deal with the extra sensativity? Maybe not. Regardless I'll get it because they come free with the Wii Sports game.
Metroid Prime 3 & Metal Gear Solid 4 anyone? You know, closing out the stories of 2 of the greatest games in history? No? Just me? Ok.... *quiets down*
